<title>On November 22, the day she died, Santa Cecilia or the day of music is celebrated. Leyend has it that Cecilia was from the noble family of Rome, who did penance and offered her virginity to God. However her father forced her to marry a young man named Valeriano. The day of their wedding, while the musicians played, she sang to God in her heart. When the newlyweds were in the room Cecilia told Valeriano that she had an angel, that he would be angry if he touched her but that he would love him if he respected her.She also told him that if he were baptized he would see the angel, so Valeriano went to look for the Urban bishop who baptized him.It is said that when the husband returned he saw an angel next to Cecilia who put a garland of rouses and lilies on the head of both. The Urban pope visited her at home and baptized 400 people.Cecilia was declared patron saint of music and musicians in 1584 by the Gregorian Pope.</title>
