In this episode the narrator describes various mummification practices but in an overly dramatic and misrepresentative way. For example, Dr. Jonathan Young does have a PH.D but in Clinical Psychology not Archaeology. 
Dr. Ed Barnhart does seem to have some experience with archaeology and archaeological practices. But one must wonder how committed he is to those practices if he is willing to appear on programs like Ancient Aliens and spread misinformation. He is also listed as an actor on Wikipedia. 
For the hosts without PH.Ds such as David Childress, Ken Jeremiah, David Wilcock, and Giorgio Tsoukalos; it is significantly more difficult to find information regarding their education. In every case there is no information on their education. There are, however, numerous links to self published books, magazine articles, publishing companies owned by these hosts, and various social media. This also makes the cultures being described in these moments seem more foreign and disturbing than they truly are. One could even say the images and music used are designed to make the culture in question seem alien. 
One example of this use of music an imagery comes at around seven minutes into the program. One of the “expert” hosts is describing how ancient Egyptians performed the mummification process, during her explanation a dramatized mummification plays out on screen with eerie music and images of fake organs. The scene resembles a horror movie more than an educational program. The audio of the “expert” is also clearly cut in a way that focuses on the most grotesque parts of the mummification process. At around ten minutes and thirty seconds until about eleven minutes and thirty seconds, an “expert” host can be heard saying that most ancient Egyptian images and hieroglyphs depict the transformation of ancient peoples into “celestial beings”. This is false, most hieroglyphs, especially in a Pharo’s tomb, would have depicted events from their life and perhaps their journey to the afterlife. 
Though it is not just ancient Egyptian culture that is being distorted by this program. The episode also talks about Buddhist mummies and touches on some of the ways in which those mummifications were performed. Though in the discussion of these mummies the show starts trying to make the case that the Buddha was one of these ancient aliens. They site stories about the Buddha having the ability to teleport as proof of this claim. The hosts believe ancient aliens exploring the galaxy came to Earth to teach these ancient cultures the practice of mummification. This is of course racist as it suggests these ancient people could not have been intelligent enough to have discovered the process on their own. Also, if we are to believe the claims of Pharos being aliens then we are believing that some of these ancient people weren’t even people at all. 
The hosts believe the aliens taught this practice to ancient peoples so they might preserve their DNA until a time when technology on Earth progressed to the point that it could clone these ancient people from their preserved DNA. The hosts also believe that these clones would be created with the original’s memories intact, effectively resurrecting the mummified person.
