This man's story and attitude connects to Charlie because they both are motivated to be something/someone who others think they can't be. Richie always wanted to work with cars and people would always ask him how he could do that with no arms but he still works with cars and has been for 8 years. Charlie always wanted to be smart but people thought he couldn't because he was just Charlie Gordon and they would make fun of him for being dumb. I am surprised by his abilities because he can actually ride a bike with no arms. Also he is very creative with how he has came up with all of the things he can do. Richie Learned to live his life by using his feet, arms, and shoulders as a replacement for his arms. He was also able to drive a car with his feet and get a good job because of what he has learned to live with. Charlie learned to live with his disability before the surgery and the surgery taught him a lot too. This man's story is so unique because he is born with no arms and he does everything that everyone else does in the world. While Charlie wants to get smarter, this man wants to have more experiences and get better at what he does. So they both want to achieve different things and they both keep trying no matter what. This man is positive and keeps trying like Charlie did.
