Thank you for everything you guys have done for us. I really appreciate every lesson and every minute in the school even though I had my ups and downs in the school 🙂

I’ve really improved in my studies now(especially Tamil ! Thank you for not giving up on me Mrs Ravi even though I was super quiet and struggled so much <3), thanks to your support throughout my 6 years in the school. I really love how my teachers made learning fun and exciting for me even though I was really shy to participate 😅. I really made so much wonderful memories in the school and I truly miss everyone there and I’ll never forget your hard work:) (once a tampinesian always a tampinesian😊) ill always cherish the memories I made with you guys everyday! I express my fullest gratitude to all my teachers since Primary 1. All of you have taught me lots of things. I will be eternally grateful for your dedication and support towards teaching us. To my Science and English teacher, Miss Ling, for making lessons enjoyable as I knew 6 Care always looks forward to your lessons and to my Mathematics teacher, Mdm Chua, thank you for making me enjoy math, helping me with several questions all while building my confidence to go to the front of the class to write my answers on the whiteboard. Mdm Neo, my form teacher of P2 Love, had made an impact on my life by always being kind to us and saying hello to us on the hallway. Mr Shadon, my Science teacher of P3 who made lessons fun🥳, interactive and most of all, enjoyable using games that everyone enjoyed. Mdm Nazreen and Mrs Cheong who encouraged my debate team and I to stay confident in ourselves during debate training and its competition. We are grateful you bought us a chocolate cake 🍫🎂on one of the days we had competition. The whole competition was very memorable. Last but not least, Cikgu Iftitah, my Mother Tongue teacher from P5 to P6 and my CCE teacher until P4. Thank you for being so funny😂, kind and caring🫶🏼. It's unfortunate that I cannot visit Tampines Primary on Teachers' Day this year as I will be on teacher sponsorship training. Yes! With that being said, I've spilled the beans on where I'm progressing next: I will be commencing my Chinese teacher sponsorship training at NIE on the week of Teachers' Day (next week) itself!

I may not be able to visit this year, but to me, this next step in my journey to become a teacher will be the best Teachers' Day present I can give, and I do hope that you all will be heartened and delighted by this news! I have also stepped up as a teacher-to-be, and my role in mother tongue, from a citizen translator under SG Translate Together, to being a student judge for a recent Chinese language competition! With my teacher training commencing soon, I will continue to step up as a teacher-to-be as well!

Thank you to all my teachers who have taught me in Tampines Primary, for teaching many valuable life lessons, and more importantly, inculcating many, many positive values in me, on top of teaching various subjects. 虽然我今年无法探望母校，但能够在华文老师的这条路上取得一定的进步应是我能献给各位老师的最佳教师节礼物了！最近，我也参与了不少与教育和母语相关的活动；我成为了全国翻译委员会共创新译 (SG Translate Together) 属下的公民译者，协助政府和有关当局为各方所提出的海报和告示牌的翻译提供反馈。更重要的是，我也参与了今年的《我们是小网红》小学短视频制作比赛的评审工作，并即将从颜晓芳部长手中接获感谢状！随着我开启华文教师之路的新篇章，我也将在教育和母语各方面更上一层楼，也期待自己终究能为人师表。

Ms Queenie is a teacher working with passion. Actions says everything. Her motivation to students via so many cute cookies for the students, photos, important reminders etc OVER THE YEARS consistently simply wows me. Hello to all my ex teachers! I hope this post finds you all in good health and high spirits. i just wanted to say a heartfelt thank you. As i move forward in life, i often find myself reminiscing about all the good times we had not only in the classroom, but out of it too. The lessons, the laughter, the challenges, and most of all, the teachers who helped shape me not only academically but in character too. You know, I almost wouldn’t believe it but now, I’m a student councillor! This achievement of mine is a testament to how you have shaped me. Each of you have played a part in my journey, and I’m truly grateful for your patience, guidance and dedication. From my many ‘incidents’ in primary school, I can wholeheartedly say that teaching is no easy task, yet all of you gave so much of yourselves to help us grow.

To Mr Sara: thank you for being such an amazing teacher, teaching me all the necessary skills for English, to this day, I still use them in secondary school. I’ve always wondered, how you were able to tolerate the clowning of my ‘gang‘ (yuteng, ben, James, and me if you’ve forgotten😝)

To mdm oh: your patience and dedication is truly admirable. It is only now, then I realise primary school math is the foundation to more advanced secondary school concepts. Thank you for never giving up on me, even when I seemed hopeless.

Thank you for allowing me to become a leader, in lower primary I had always been mischievous, spontaneous and all those. However through your group leader positions you gave, I had learnt how to step up for people, take responsibilities and not be afraid to voice out! You also had me appointed as Class Monitor and chose me for ECHA award. I always remember the cruel yet effective method you made our class do to keep quiet, walking up and down the stairs repeatedly 6 times from level 1 to 6 back to level 1. It not only kept a DEEP impression on me it also taught me that some people do need to learn through the hard way! Always telling me to pull up my socks, Both in English and literally, And making me stay back During recess to give me a peptalk about how important English is, which I do agree, was important. Although my English may still not be the best, I really do appreciate your effort you gave to my class. In the end, my English AL went from 6 to 5 which may not seem like a huge improvement,but felt like one to me thank you!

As a parent, i think its so difficult to even manage one child and to see the teachers do it everyday so effortlessly is truly amazing. I am here to give my absolute utmost gratitude to Mr Salleh! My daughter is currently in his class and how he sparked her interest in reading is bewildering to me! She returns home with different books every few days from Mr Salleh’s library at the back of the class! Absolutely love the little bookworm embosser logo you have on your books! I love how you have transformed her into a bookworm and how she knows you have her back in school regardless of anything. Thank you for being the bank when she forgets money, the bookshop when she forgets her pencil case and thank you for always being so patient with her. I truly thank you from the bottom of my heart! Thank you Mrs Chong and Mdm Chua for making my P5 and P6 life so much better!!! The small words of encouragement, end of year videos and all the sweet treats on various different occasions, for example the Nutella Muffins during Valentine’s Day and Halloween biscuits:)😋 I have had so many wonderful memories at Tampines Primary. When we felt down, there will always be someone who manages to cheer us up. After PSLE, that was easily the most fun✨😝. The activities organised by the teachers, definitely was worth every second❤️. I would like to say happy teachers day to you and to have a good time teaching the new students. Although I may not be there to convey my gratitude, appreciation and thoughtfulness for your efforts in teaching me, I am writing this Padlet here instead. I want to say that I have improved in all my subjects since I joined Tampines Secondary School, the school of my choice. My English, Math, Science and even mother tongue have all improved over the last eight months since I have left for secondary school. Even though I have not been that kind and respectful towards other peers from last year and now ignore my now former teachers not because I hate them but because I am shy doesn't mean I haven't forget this school and thought of it as a bad memory. But it did bring me some good and bad memories, though that's in the past. I may have been quite a handful back in primary school, but thank you teachers for your unwavering support and dedication so that I will be able to grow up like many of my peers, from primary school and beyond.

The past year has been eventful for me. I am now serving my National Service, and at the time of writing this post, I just had my first bookout from camp. Earlier on, I have written articles to Chinese newspaper Lianhe Zaobao and as of today, a grand total of 7 articles have been published on a discussion forum by youths in Zaobao. My features have also led me to accepting interviews by keen reporters, and I have been featured on both Lianhe Zaobao and Straits Times upon graduation in May, and as recently as this week (25 August) during my NS confinement respectively! As for my education progression, I have completed my Teacher Training Sponsorship training in November last year, and I have successfully graduated from polytechnic in May! Thereafter, I will be going for a 3-month internship at a primary school before entering NIE upon completion of my NS. In addition, earlier this year, from March onwards, I have been providing Chinese tuition to a Primary 6 student with special needs in preparation for her PSLE, and have also indirectly helped a friend of mine who's sister is also taking PSLE this year by sharing with her my tuition resources. With this progress, I am confident that I'll continue to progress in my path to be a teacher myself, and during my time in NS, I'm also planning to improve my skills and upgrade myself as I begin to enter the public service!

All this wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for my teachers always believing in my potential despite my special needs. To all my teachers who have taught me, thank you and wish you all a Happy Teachers' Day!

I will never forget the teacher who aided me for one of the most stressful years especially Mrs Chong, Mr Kang, Mrs Wong, Mdm Jalela( I am sorry if I spelt wrong), Miss Isabella, HOD of chinese( if she still is this year)(I am sorry for forgetting your chinese name 老师）,

My social studies teacher( the oldest one i think in the dept)( once again I am sry for forgetting your name) Mdm chua, Miss Chua, Miss Tan, MR GOH( GOATED PE TEACHER)( and also prob not his name either as I cannot remember too clearly),

All these teachers have guided me throughout my 2 years when I was in hope from p5 to p6. The 3 special teachers I would like to thank the most are both of my chinese 老师 from p5 to p6( the hod of chinese and Miss Isabella), Mr Kang, Mrs Chong. They never gave up on me and helped me. My chinese teachers helped me pull my grades up from an abyssmal al6 to al 3, without them I would never have join Ngee Ann. Mr Kang inspired me in both learning math and compassion, he showed me wrong from right. Mrs Chong never once did gave up on me despite my english being horrendous which was a barely passing al6, from her I learnt to love writing, and from there love english, without her I would never have gotten an al2 in my life for english. Every single teacher in tampines has helped me one way or another which allowed me to be where I am now.

I just wanted to say a very big thank you for the love and care you pour into 1 Care every single day. It truly means so much to us as parents.

Thank you for loving the class so wholeheartedly and for taking such good care of the children. The way you nurture them, guide them, and look after their well-being does not go unnoticed. I’m especially touched that they say “I love you” to Mrs Ridzwan after class each time. That speaks volumes about the safe, warm, and happy environment you’ve created for them.

My son, Ayden Malek, truly enjoys going to school and is always excited about what each new day brings. He often shares stories about his day, his friends, what he did during recess & the activities he participated in. At times, he even excitedly teaches his younger brother what he has learned from his teachers. To me, this clearly shows that learning has been made enjoyable and meaningful for him.
