In 1836 Lowell factory towns became very popular due to many new job options so the population went to 10,000 people. This changed society because people could get new jobs and start a new life.</div>]]></description>

The small children were especially useful in textile mills because they could fit through the big machines and change spindles. This changed society because at one point people realized this was wrong and they put a law on it and they banned child labor.</div>]]></description>

Bad workers were easy to replace so they didn't pay them enough. This changed society because it gave more pay to workers and the US changed.</div>]]></description>
