I have never been listen to this song until one day my cultural team that under my supervision sang it to me on the last they I spent with them before going to IIUM. They are not highly intelligent , they are boys who used to be in the lowest ranked class but they realize who they are and never talk back when I instructed them to that and this. Besides, they know how to appreciate the effort we all gave to them.

A little braver by New Empire

It talks about a guy who’s trying to get stronger and braver after he felt that there was something wrong about he and his girlfriend. He is still missing her and their memory when they were together, even though he realized that he couldn’t do anything to get her back in his life. This song is about Maher Zain who was obviously a naughty boy when he was a kid and now that he is older and a father too, he looks back and understands he gave his mother a hard time, but at the same time he can now also understand how much his mother loved him, so he is writing this song to honour his mother, thank her for all her past and present love and promise her that he will do everything he can to make her happy and compensate for the hard times in the past. 

Same to me which I wish that I have opportunity to change the bad things I often did in the past towards my mother. I don't want to be like I just took her for granted until one day she left me for another one and all my world collapsed. That's why my mother is important for me in this world because of all her past and present love for me and only Allah knows how much mean her for me. We must love our mother and thank her.
