The Apache ate a wide variety of food, but their main staple was corn, also called maize, and meat from the buffalo. They also gathered food such as berries and acorns. Another traditional food was roasted agave, which was roasted for many days in a pit. Some Apaches hunted other animals like deer and rabbits.

All people in the Apache tribe lived in one of three types of houses. The first of which is the teepee, for those who lived in the plains. Another type of housing is the wickiup, an 8-foot-tall (2.4 m) frame of wood held together with yucca fibers and covered in brush usually in the Apache groups in the highlands

Apache clothing for men typically included a loincloth or flap, also known as a breechcloth or breechclout. In warmer weather, this might be all that they would wear, with perhaps a pair of lightweight moccasins or sandals. When it was colder, the men would wear a long deerskin shirt, leggings and headpieces fashioned from leather.

For these reasons natural resources affected the Blackfoots culture. Apache: TheApaches home land consisted of plains, mountains, and hills. Apaches natural resources were lakes, streams, rocks, minerals, timber, wildlife, and vegetation.
