Multicultural societies, in which there is a mixture of different ethnic peoples, bring more benefits than drawbacks to a country. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
Countries such as the United Kingdom and Russia are modern multicultural societies that have evolved over hundreds of years as a result of successive waves of immigration from other continents and countries, as well as by the original inhabitants: the United States, Korea, and Central and South America. As a consequence, an intriguing and diverse mix of people, cultures, and lifestyles has emerged. However, as can be seen from their history, these countries are not without their troubles. Countries and communities have almost certainly always been multicultural; no two individuals are alike; even friends have differing tastes in clothing, sports teams, food, and even views, yet they manage to live and work together, support one another, and be accepting of their differences. As a result, their friendship is likely to be richer, more intriguing, more satisfying. However, even though they had so much in common, Kim Kardashian West and his "blood sister" clashed viciously. Life in a multicultural society is richer, and the variety of experiences offered is greater, but it is only possible to appreciate it if each individual is willing to embrace diversity. It is simple to consume the grilled lamb kebabs sold on the streets by Turks, but it is more difficult to adopt their values, culture, or religion. We all live in a multicultural society; sometimes it is simple, but other times it is necessary to listen to, comprehend, and truly congenial with individuals from various cultures. Regrettably, we are not always capable of doing so.

In my opinion, it bring more benefits than drawbacks to a country. To begin with, multicultural societies give us opportunities to share to enhance their knowledge of culture and tradition. For instance, people and friends around you came from different hometown, so you could know the distinctiveness of their region such as food or local accent and language. Thence, the more we brings cultural to everyone , the more people create a more sustainable and more united communities, which make our country become stronger and stronger. Lastly, multicultural societies also help the country developing their economy. When there is cultural diversity, other ethnic groups will have the opportunity to know the potential for economic development in a number of different ways to help them develop. Thereby helping both partners bring their own benefits and the community. In conclusion, multicultural societies brings many benefits not only to ours elf but also to our country development.

Topic 4: Some people think that people will forget their own tradition and history because they no longer wear their traditional costumes. Do you agree or disagree?

I absolutely disagree with this statement for these following reasons. First of all, the fundamental demands of the popularity nowadays make traditional costumes become unnecessary. That the working pressure or conditions of living make people have the demand on the convenience and comfort. As a result, the change in clothing is necessary to meet people's common demand.
Second, wearing traditional costumes is just only a small aspect of a tradition of a single country. Just because of not wear their traditional clothes do they forget their tradition and history. The knowledge of a person of a costume relies entirely on the education that he or she receives, which is not completely based on the way he or she dresses. To sum up, a person's understanding of the culture of his country does not depend entirely on whether he or she wears traditional clothing. This is just a really simple way to display one's culture and history

Modern clothes have such significant influence on people that some individuals have little knowledge about their own traditional costumes. Nevertheless, this does not indicate that they are losing touch with their history and tradition. Initially, the changing lifestyle these days requires the abandoning of traditional clothes, as the priority in clothes now is convenience and comfort in daily activities. Each of the countries has its costumes and national dresses in which some are comfortable and other are difficult to handle. To illustrate, "Kimono" which is Japan's traditional dress is very stunning and attractive, however, it is quite uncomfortable with long sleeves and it may create troublesomeness in labor and machinery work. Therefore, people barely wear this kind of clothes in daily life; instead, they prefer modern outfits such as T-shirts and trousers since they can be worn for many purposes. In other words, consumers’ choices to purchase or wear certain clothes are often influenced by fashion. Each year, the fashion industry is coming up with new types of clothes, sometimes unnecessarily, to maintain the huge profits. Additionally, education plays a far more important role in enhancing one’s understanding of one’s history and culture than residents' preferential clothes. In conclusion, people forgo traditional costumes solely out of other considerations; it hardly contributes to forgetting their history and custom.

Firstly, the swelling business or societal correspondence can fabricate a mutual understanding between nations. By having more communications and exposure, countries will be able to acknowledge others’ cultural differences and appreciate them furthermore. For instance, through perceiving each others’ civilizations, nations may possibly savvy the needs of one another, correspondingly contribute and further ameliorate their relationship. Secondly, soaring business and societal exposure proselytizes distinctions and accessibility of different products to the local markets. Vietnam is a case in point. Back in the day, people did not have varieties of necessities and consumer products in general because there has not been an expansion and strengthening of exchange and trade relations with foreign countries. Nowadays, as imports become more frequent thanks to extensive trading relationships, the commodities for sale for consumption are more diversified than before, especially in local markets. This conceivably leads to an increase in the economy of the country. In conclusion, thanks to the business escalation and social contact between countries, there is a mutual understanding between nations as well as the promotion of diversities and availability of various products.

Multicultural societies, in which there is a mixture of different ethnic peoples, bring more benefits than drawbacks to a country.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Opinions are divided on whether a multicultural society can bring a host of benefits or if a mixture of different ethnic groups is detrimental to a country. From my perspective, I personally subscribe to the former for the following reasons. First and foremost, living in a multicultural society is akin to living in a diversified culture, which allows residents to enrich their cultural knowledge. For example, Vietnam has a mixture of 54 ethnic groups, which provides residents with the chance to explore a diverse range of cultural experiences available, such as different values, beliefs, cultural and literary treasures. Moreover, a society where different cultural uniquenesses are combined can attract multitudinous tourists. Consequently, local people’s revenue from the tourism industry will be gradually boosted and more job opportunities will be created. Another compelling reason is that a multicultural society promotes an exchange of culture, which can enrich a person’s interpersonal skills as new approaches and conduct experience may be garnered. To summarize, I firmly believe that people can take several advantages of multicultural civilizations, such as for their knowledge, their revenue, and their interpersonal skills although there are still some drawbacks.

Although it has both positive and bad consequences on a country, I believe that we are more likely to profit from this type of society than suffer from its drawbacks. The more varied a country's citizens are, the more cultural values they may exchange to increase their cultural awareness and knowledge. People will become more intimately involved in learning about distinctive cultures or rituals, as well as life and work attitudes, from their international neighbors, coworkers, and friends. As a result, they help people to adapt to cultural variety in order to improve their interpersonal skills and get more familiar with various cultures without having to reside in another country. Racial disparity has increased, the wealth-poverty gap has widened, and various cultural tensions, but residents can overcome them if the government implements friendly-ethnic policies and residents have positive thoughts and behaviors to live in harmony with others.

Multicultural societies, in which there is a mixture of different ethnic peoples, bring more benefits than drawbacks to a country.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
There isn't a country on the planet that hasn't been affected by the phenomenon of multiculturalism. Some argue that combining diverse cultures might lead to issues such as cultural erosion and prejudice in society. Multicultural communities, in my opinion, have far more benefits than drawbacks. Firstly, it helps with social development. People from many cultures share a sense of curiosity about other civilizations and a desire to learn more about them. They initiate and express their desire to learn about one other's cultures. They can start talks and exchange ideas this way. Gradually, they improve their communication. This leads to more frequent exchanges of thoughts and ideas. Second, countries groom economically because people from other cultures have different ideas about how to improve the economy and commercial strategies. People from many cultures each have their own set of skills. They use a variety of strategies to run their company. The nation will become economically strong if they exchange ideas and guide each other. To sum up, while it may be claimed that too much emphasis is placed on the negative consequences of multiculturalism, I believe that ethnic diversity benefits our society much.

TOPIC 1
With the advancement of technology and the ease of transportation, national borders appear to be blurring, resulting in an increase in worldwide contact and cultural exchange so few people believe that a new worldwide language should be created in order to improve communication and engagement. In my opinion, bringing the entire world onto one platform is a fantastic idea, and I believe this action will have more benefits than drawbacks. First, the development of a worldwide language could make communication easier for everyone. English, Spanish, Russian, and Chinese are the most widely spoken languages nowadays. However, knowing three of these languages does not guarantee that a person will not have difficulties while visiting a country whose native language, for example, is Hindi, because the majority of people in this country do not speak any of these languages due to a lack of education. In that instance, the existence of a universal language will disseminate its knowledge, lowering the risk of a language barrier forming. Secondly, many prosperous countries have English as their mother tongue, giving them a competitive advantage. This difficulty would be solved if a new language were developed, and everyone would have the same opportunities in work, business, and international affairs. Furthermore, perfecting English requires time and expertise, which is not easy for a person to achieve. For those from non-English-speaking nations, the accent is another issue. Many individuals would no longer be bothered by an accent if a new worldwide language was developed. To summarize, establishing a new language is a good alternative for preventing cultural extinction and alleviating the disadvantages of a new language because it allows us to communicate indefinitely while also improving our knowledge.

TOPIC 1
In modern times, globalization and frequent exchanges between countries are gradually becoming more and more important for the development of each country. However, the language barrier is an obstacle, especially for minority languages. As a result, there are some belief that people should invent a new languages for international communication. In my point of view, the implementation of this idea is reasonable and will be extremely useful in the future. Firstly, as already mentioned, language difference is one of the most significant problems preventing the development of globalization, so creating a common language is also a reasonable way to solve this problem. The fact that everyone speaks the same language will make communication, exchange and learning easier, moreover, the fatigue and difficulty of having to learn a large number of languages just for communication will cease to exist. In addition, the use of translators or translation applications will no longer be necessary, it also makes life more comfortable and convenient for immigrants or international students. Furthermore, the fact that everyone communicates with the same language will make the problem of ethnicity and language discrimination gradually decrease. In instances, when all members of a group can communicate with each other, it will help connect individuals instead of disagreement and coldness because of language differences. In conclusion, the emergence of a common language is absolutely necessary

Although it has both positive and negative consequences for a country, I believe it can bring more benefits than disadvantages. Firstly, it will help society develop more and more in a good direction. People from different civilizations have unique talents and ways of thinking. They have different thoughts and plans to run their work. If they exchange information and guide each other, thereby making up for the shortcomings of each factor and developing strengths, then society will become more and more developed. Secondly, coming together from many different cultures helps people learn to respect other cultures. Sometimes we can misunderstand the culture of another country when we only know about them through an intermediary. This can lead to misleading information or facts about the culture, leading to disrespect as it can be barbaric. When we live with people who belong to that culture, we will know accurate information, thereby changing the way we look at it and respect it.

The multicolored is possibly the most powerful component of human nature, and it has the potential to accelerate a country's development. As a result, I wholeheartedly concur with this statement, which I shall expand on further below. To begin with, different races and nations are like a rainbow of colors that blend to create a beautiful canvas painting. A child born to parents of diverse nationalities is more capable and successful in a range of subjects, according to scientific evidence. It can happen when two different genes and cultures combine, resulting in an individual who is one-of-a-kind. In addition to arithmetic, music, chess, and history, the young woman excels in a variety of subjects. Even though it is hypothetical, this example shows how civilizations may collaborate to produce something wonderful. Second, each country and nation has its distinct advantages and strengths that, when joined, can build a formidable union. In a world of scarcity and hunger, the coming together of many cultures can aid in the resolution of critical economic, political, and environmental concerns. Discrimination between associations can also be eliminated because the world would be completely equal and fair, with the same conditions everywhere. Finally, the blending of nations and races is a magnificent idea that has the power to shatter the terrible connections that human nature is continuously fighting.

Since the traditional costumes are too inconvenient to wear, the young would likely choose modern clothes instead of them. Cultural diversity is the source of identity, innovation and creativity that unites people around the world. It is the driving force behind development, not only economic growth, but also enriching intellectual, emotional, moral and spiritual life. Culture and tourism companies: create jobs and income through mobility, through sightseeing, selling crafts and other cultural products. Do you agree or disagree?

Residents in today's society don't really wear their traditional national clothes. The majority of people like to wear clothes that were manufactured in their nation but are not considered traditional. Some object to this, claiming that people are forgetting their history and customs in this way. However, I believe that this is an essential facet of development and growth

Non-traditional clothing, in my opinion, does not imply a disrespect for history, rather, it might be a symbol of globalization, which is critical for future living. This could also avoid the possibility of racism which can bring people together

Many others, on the other hand, agree with this statement for a variety of reasons. The most significant point is that practicing religion on a daily basis aids in the development of a solid spiritual thought process, even if it is not always the best method of thinking.

So, I completely disagree with this, because we cannot evaluate people just on the basis of their clothing.

Topic 1: Some people think that we should invent a new language for international communication. Do the benefits of this outweigh the problems?

As the world is demanding for a rather collaborative lifestyle and relationship among nations, some individuals have an idea that a new language for global communication should be invented. From my perspective, both the nations and individuals will gain various beneficial effects from this. First and foremost, when a new language is introduced, the economy will be developed more rapidly, as there are a wider range of opportunities being offered to businesses from all over the world. Due to the reduce of language barrier, partners may communicate more clearly, creating a mutual understanding with each other and avoiding the unwanted misunderstanding. Moreover, as it is said before, since there is a variety of job opportunities for the candidates, a nation's unemployment rate may drop dramatically. As an illutration, labour export will be such a time-saving way to work abroad, since people no longer need to study a new language. Furthermore, this change may have some beneficial impacts on certain individuals, beside the governments. Interpreters, for instance, would go under less challenging circumstances, when using the same language take smaller amount of time and efforts. In conclusion, in this developing world, it is undenieable that a new language for international communication should be instituted, since it may include several benefits.

Topic 4: Some people think that people will forget their own tradition and history because they no longer wear their traditional costumes. Do you agree or disagree?

Some people think that people will forget their own tradition if they do not wear their traditional costumes, however, I strongly disagree with that statement. Firstly, people’s preference to certain kinds of apparel has little to do with their attachment to their history and tradition. A person's choice of clothing is often related to the fashion trends of the time since they don't want to be considered out-of-date. Secondly, the abandoning of traditional clothes is sometimes necessary because of the modern lifestyle. Some people prefer not to wear the traditional costume because some traditional clothes are very uncomfortable and difficult to move around. For example, casual clothes are not only suitable for many purposes from office activities to leisure but also fashionable. Moreover, casual clothes are more affordable yet still stylish. To summarize, rarely wearing traditional clothes does not mean forgetting our history and traditions.

From my perspective, I believe that the increasing business and cultural contact between countris would bring nothing but positive effects. Speaking of positive effects, it can clearly be seen that the biggest advantage that business and cultural contact between countries would bring is the promotion of business co-operation among nations. Both business and cultural are great chances of contributing national intergration, while business is the main purpose of business co-operation, cultural would be a bright thing to attract other nations to invest or co-operate. For instance, Korea has been such an ideal partner for economic co-operation because of its unique and wonderful cultural that have attracted many people from different nations to be fond of it and its stable economic development. In conclusion, the increasing business and cultural contact between countries brings many positive effects, the promotion of business co-operation among nations as an example.

TOPIC 2: Multicultural societies, in which there is a mixture of different ethnic peoples, bring more benefits than drawbacks to a country.

To what extent do you agree or disagree?

Many people believe that multicultural environments provide many benefits because the diversity of races, cultures, and traditions makes the country unique and appealing. In my opinion, even though multicultural societies have some negative aspects, the positive aspects outweigh the negatives. To begin with, the more diverse a country's residents are, the more cultural values they can share in order to raise cultural and traditional awareness and knowledge. People will become more directly involved in understanding their foreign neighbors', colleagues', and friends' unique customs or rituals, as well as their life and work attitudes. As a result, they enable them to adapt to cultural diversity in order to develop interpersonal skills and live more closely with other cultures without physically residing in another country. Furthermore, multicultural societies bring the city to life and make it fascinating. This distinguishes the city and attracts visitors from all over the world. Consequently, it will boost the tourism industry, create many jobs, and generate income tax revenue for governments. Many well-known multicultural cities, such as Sydney, Toronto, and Singapore, are considered advanced cities due to effective local government management. In conclusion, it is undeniable that a multicultural environment has both benefits and drawbacks. Nevertheless, I believe that the benefits of multicultural societies outweigh the disadvantages.

TOPIC 3: Some people think the increasing business and cultural contact between countries brings many positive effects. Others say it causes the loss of national identities. Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

In this day and age, the increasing business and cultural contact between countries brings many positive effects, but it has also sparked off heated controversies over the negative influences that a global culture can bring into their life. To begin with, the increasing business and cultural contact between countries leads to the extinction of some traditional cultures due to a worldwide media and entertainment. In Vietnam, for instance, youngers now no longer understand the national traditions: water puppetry, Hue royal court music, which are considered the cultural quintessence of Vietnam; they go to concerts of Korean K-Pop idols instead. In addition, the world is getting less linguistically diverse in the process of globalization nowadays. People tend to switch to the dominant language in the world: English, Chinese instead of their mother tongue because when we visit a foreign country, we will have to learn the dominant language instead of using our mother tongue to communicate. Therefore, countries can no longer express their unique cultural identities through their own languages and the country’s identity starts to fade. In conclusion, while globalization can bring economic benefits to countries, it also brings many harmful effects to the national identity of less developed countries such as the extinction of some traditional cultures and the lack of linguistic diversity.

I strongly believe that the drawbacks of this outweigh the benefits. A new language for international communication does more harm than goods. First, English is a global language and is widely accepted by the general population nowadays. If a new language comes out, many people will lose their occupations. Second, inventing a new language requires financial support and a bunch of time. The government needs to provide a lot of money and necessary equipment for researching a new language.

TOPIC 4

Modern clothes have such a significant influence on people that some individuals have little knowledge about their own traditional costumes, nonetheless, I believe this has nothing to do with the loss of history and traditions. First, the changing lifestyle these days requires the abandoning of traditional clothes, as the priority in clothes now is convenience and comfort in daily activities. Since traditional costumes are often cramped and tight, it doesn't find favor with many people, especially the young. Thus, the choice to wear modern clothes is conceivable. Additionally, the loss of a community’s history or traditions in no case relates to the preference to clothes of their citizens, instead, fashion influences a person’s decision in shopping. Secondly, traditional costumes are only a small element of one’s tradition while education plays a much more vital role in it. With a view to preserving the country’s history and traditions, instead of focusing on the clothing issue, each citizen should try to cultivate more knowledge; hence, he can make great contributions to the nation. In short, we must assert that not wearing traditional costumes does not imply that we have forgotten our history and traditions for a plethora of compelling reasons.

Some people think the increasing business and cultural contact between countries brings many positive effects. Others say it causes the loss of national identities.

Discuss both sides and give your opinion.

It is believed that the escalating business and societal exposure among the nations can potentially bring multitudinous positive influences; yet, can possibly cause various drawbacks. From my perspective, I think that the cooperation between countries could bring various drawbacks. First of all, it leads to the domination of the stronger country to the weaker country. For example, the business collaboration between Cambodia and China has resulted in the loss of former Cambodia's identity, where most of the population prefers to buy products that were made in China. This trend has greatly resulted in the degradation in value of native products due to the preference of people to foreign articles. Secondly, cooperation among nations can also contribute to the change in the way people perform their own language. By being influenced from another culture, some international words could be added to the local dialect as a new means of communication. To illustrate, a recent study found that more than 1000 words in Vietnamese have been replaced by many international words from many different countries, especially English since it was put into the national educating system. To conclude, coordination between nations may bring a lot of disadvantages such as the domination of the bigger nation and the invasion of a new language into the culture of a country.
