I asked them if they wanted to play Wordle! And then said I was joking and they didnt quite get it.....

I didn't tell them I was going to record the project but I began when I saw them actually working together. It really came out great in the short amount of time we have. They first assembled the 3m magnets on the pieces. Then they assembled the words on the board. They did have to be taught the "crossword" aspect. I had a student say, "We're out of u's!!!" To which I interjected the point is to assemble together. 🩵💛

Group project from our lesson on Literary Periods. One group asked that no one write directly on their poster as the lesson wanted the students to write feedback to each other on the original posters. I'm so happy that they would be THAT! proud of their work.

The tally marks are from my 8th graders voting for the best poster ITO. (in their opinion) 😉
