What went well?

If I’m going to be 100% nothing only thing that went well was stuff outside of college

All that’s happend in college is just problems and hits silly stuff that shouldn’t even be a issue in the first place like a ton of meeting set up and a lot more stuff taxis the list goes on

But coming to college this year has just made me lose a lot of motivation if it’s just going to be stress from everyone everyday even on my off days I get messages and emails from college it’s just stressful and (makes my heart hurt literally ) so yeah nothing has went well this year in the big picture in college no well in music mostly this hole course needs to be re Layed out and looked at .

What would you improve?

Everything to be honest like give us more logic lessons or even like just do mixing and mastering on Logic Pro and let us do it as you go through it it’s hard to learn when only listening to someone talk I need to do it myself to actually learn

I would improve the whole music thing in general like better lessons and not teaching us what we learnt in level one I feel like I wasted a hole year of my life in level one because the people who skipped straight to level 2 already know everything we do because it just retaught and it should be that was I did level 1 to learn that stuff not waste a year of my life I understand there new but still we should have to redo stuff we already know.

What did you learn?

The only thing I have learnt this year was from the Canadian teacher I can’t spell his name sorry but only thing I learnt from him was on week 2 and it was in logic about automation apart from that nothing

Nothing to be honest it was extremely boring didn’t feel like college it felt like a job it’s just coming it to learn nothing at all it feels like a waste of time when we could use the lessons to actually teach us something

Well this could be for producer but mostly a manager would deal with this stuff ⬇️

You need to sort out your funding so you know you have the money for stuff so you don’t end up going into dept

They need contacts The more contacts the better there essential to making music like if you have no contacts and you need a person for specific lyrics then you have no one but for example u have contacts then u may have lyrics u need done then u have people you can call or email or contact

They need good mangers to sort out stuff like contracts for example marshmallows producer sorts out his collabs like Fortnite concert or the skin his mango get sorted all of the out including the deals same with all the stuff like it

They need communication To get there point across and not have any issues with communication like if you arnt good at communication the hole project could go wrong

They need a good label or just a good home studio to di stuff if it’s a bad studio u may not be able to get stuff done

They need money so they can get a laptop and a good daw ect stuff in music costs a lot like the mic they showed us in basement costs 35k

They need good time management so if I have a studio like for example a guy I know he needs good time management so he can put people in time slots and more stuff like that

If your gunna be a dj or a performer we’ll just anything on stage your going to need to have a lot of energy and a lot awareness of your surroundings incase something happens in the crowd like some one gets hurt ect and you have to stop the show you need to have all of these things like if anything messes up on the technical side you have to be able to mabye improvise or fix it if that’s possible at the time .

2 : Energetic well to be able to get though the set

3 : you need to be self aware and also aware of others around you incase anything happens

4 : you need to be confident even if you arnt fully confident you just need to go out there and get it done even if u have a mask ect

5 : need to be ready for anything

6 : you need to make sure all of your equipment works incase or a equipment malfunction or something breaks or hits anything really you need to make sure your ready for anything and you need to make sure that’s everything is ready for your performance it’s always best to check yourself just to be safe and so you know everything is done so nothing happens and messes up your show or the show
