Many activities and media that we absorb through education is linked, in one way or another, to music and this talk really brought to light on why music is just about everywhere. It has a lot to do with brain growth, memory, and development.

It is exciting that neroscience is delving into the productivity and possibilites of music developing our brains! A theory long recognized, finally getting ample time under the microscope! YES!

Iverson made me wonder about the people who do not gravitate towards music. How does music affect THEIR brains... Can if produce activity and growth in all brains, or only some... What is happening in the brains of people who don't "enjoy" music, when they are listening to it...? Food for thought.
