1. While most teachers appear to agree that there are positive benefits for learning and grades when revision is allowed, most also feel there should be a penalty of some kind in the grade when revision happens.

2. There might be a concern about the purpose of the revision vs the learning. Teachers may be more likely to allow revision if they feel it is about learning material and not to improve a grade.

3. It's likely that the graded item affects responses to requests for revisions, (ie, the quiz vs the essay vs the project). Some work items are designed to revise and improve as a process and others are not.

3b. Interesting that the level that seems least likely to allow revision is CP.

1. A solid majority (78.5%) of CHS teachers believe all students in all levels should be allowed to revise work.

2. Revised work should NOT be entered into ASPEN for full credit. Some penalty should be incurred (teacher discretion IE revise up to 90).

3. The student who refuses to work or knowingly put in no or poor effort does not qualify for revision opportunities.

4. All CCA's/PBA's can be revised both for credit in ASPEN and PBGR (in the quarter they are assigned).

-----------
Is our belief statement as a SIT group "We should give ALL students equal opportunity to revise work to learn/grow AND to improve their course grade."
