Also he spread Christianity and strengthened Rome as a whole. This is important because this started Charlemagne's rule. <br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>As Charlemagne died in 1814 he's thrown was taken over. Many of the new kings failed to live up to his rule. This caused a ripple in the seemingly unbreakable Roman Empire. More failures to hold order in the empire finally led to its fall. This is important because this would begin the dark ages as the pieces of Rome begged for security. </div>]]></description>

This caused the Pope to start a crusade of a volunteer army to take back the city. This was important because Jerusalem is a very important city to everyone involved in the crusade.</div>]]></description>
