I am unique because when you first get to know me I am very quiet and shy. When it comes to getting closer with someone after a period of time, I start to open up and become goofy and loud. I have also been told I am a big support system for my friends and family because I can sit an listen and help someone through things that they may be going through. The five words I would use to describe myself are strong, helpful, goofy, caring, and understanding. I think that these words describe me because throughout all I have gone through, like getting diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, I have learned something like that doesn't define who you are and that your true personality truly shines through it all. 

I decided to take this course because when I was younger my favorite thing to do was write short stories about being a princess, or owning my own puppy and going on adventures. As I have gotten older my love of stories and writing has grown, and I want to take this course to expand my writing abilities, and to give myself a place to write down all my creative ideas and thoughts, while practicing more on technique and gaining knowledge of writing. What I am hoping to learn from this course is how to put all of my thoughts into an order that makes sense and tells a story. What I do know about creative writing is that you get a lot of opportunities to use your own creativity to make something amazing. 

The picture below was taken a few weeks ago while I was watching my siblings have a water balloon fight against my mom. It was taken in the garage, and after I helped my brother throw a balloon at my sister. 

Something that makes me unique is I'm always the happy and fun person with anyone I'm around.  I like to be the life of the party and always make people feel better. I feel like I am very funny, kind, athletic, likeable, and sympathetic. I would say these words are a good way to describe me because I'm always making everyone laugh. I am nice to everyone that I meet. I like to play sports and work on a better me for my sports. I want to be friends with everyone and like to invite all of my friends everywhere I go. I will always be there for the people I care about and give them the best advice I can. I wanted to take this class because it will be something different then just the regular english classes you would take at actual school. My whole life i've only taken english and I thought it would be cool to try something different. I am hoping to learn to become a better writer and become more creative. I really don’t know much about writing but I am ready to learn new things.

I'm a Junior at Menomonie High school, I'm 16 years old, I enjoy collecting keyboards and into hardware tech stuff. Mainly I enjoy to game at times but most of the times I enjoy writing short stories, having multiple short stories I've come across having a little bit of trouble keeping up with them myself. I write my stories on a site named Watt pad, I have multiple stories there but it's still a work in progress. If you want to read some of my cringe stories then my name is [HyugonHaru].

 If I had to describe myself as a unique individual I say that I'm very social even though I'm a introvert. I can be Extrovert at times, I really don't know which it is, just really depends on the events. I'm very open-minded as person and learn to respect others no matter the cause. Five words to describe me are Sarcastic. Open-minded. Hardworking. Weeb and last but least supportive. These words that are listed really actually tides to my personality I like to take some things as jokes and when it's time for work or school I work hard to get things done or even go ahead if I want to. If you're wondering what the word weeb means. It means that I watch Japanese cartoon or anime as it's called. But don't worry I haven't watch any these past summers. I'm very open-minded to anyone as I learn to respect others from my parents, without respect there can be no peace, as I like to think of it. The main reason I took this class was to expand more of my inner-imaginations. I feel as kids we used so much of our imagination but yet as we grow older it starts to slowly lose its grip on us as we prepare for adult-hood. I still feel that part of our imagination can be used and modify to more of a adult view with creativity and such. I want to understand how to write proper stories potentially writing a book. I know how to write a story but can't seem to end it the right way, also my grammar conjunction is okay. My character development is good but not good enough I could work way more with it as time goes on. I know how develop the characters and the plot but when it comes to an ending it's where I take most of my time searching for a better ending of the story. I would like to say that I am unique in a way of choosing to have reduced contact with people on a normal basis.

These words describe me because I choose to not talk a lot and will only speak when I want to and when I have no other choice. I’m generally indifferent when it comes to other people and their lives. Semi-intelligent and aware as I like academics when it is not overwhelming me tasks, as well as being more observant of global topics and not local gossip.

I decided to take this class as I generally like to write creatively while other classes keep things to a tight structure with little room for imagination.

Something unique about me is that I have been to Russia before. It was definitely an amazing and unforgettable experience. I was over there because my brother's job allows him to travel and relocate for long periods of time and one of the places he ended up living was moscow russia. My brother has lived in lots of cool places like Australia, Japan,Argentina, and a few other places I don't remember.

Five words I would use to describe myself are: fearless, hardworking,trustworthy,funny, and joyful. I chose those words because I feel they all fit me well. It takes quite a bit to scare me, I'm not afraid to work, and I love making people happy.

I am very artistic, I love drawing and painting. I am very passionate about animals and my dream job is to open my own humane society. I prefer animals over most people, because I am very introverted and quiet around new people. 

Creative- When I am creating something, everything else fades away. It is the only time I am able to truly be in the moment and I love to let my imagination come to life.

Passionate- I am so passionate about art, animals, pyschology, and my family/friends. I do not have much interest in materialistic things, I would rather live in an RV than a massive house.

Stubborn- I am a free spirited person, so things like school and rules tend to make me feel trapped. I am excited for this year though because I am taking very interesting classes.

Intelligent- I can be very smart when I am passionate about certain topics, such as pyschology, criminology and sociology. I love learning about how brain patterns work and how society can change the way people act.

empathetic- I am a protector and a fixer, so when people come to me with problems I immediately try to help them as best as I can. 

I have always been interested in mythology and mythical creatures.

    I am hoping to learn more about the different types of mythology around the world

     I read every mythology book that Rick Riordan wrote. (the Percy Jackson series, The Kane Chronicles, The Magnus Chase series)

Hello, My name is Reilly and I go to Greendale High School. One thing that I can think of that makes me somewhat unique as an individual is that I know how to put together a PC. I feel like there aren't many people that really know what or how to do that, as I have personally seen from when I helped a few of my friends build their PC's. I mainly took this class so I can get my English credit for school, but this class also seemed the most interesting out of all my options. I'm hoping to learn how to think of more ways to write about different things. I know some basics of English. Alright, now here is a picture of my PC since I couldn't think of another image to put in there

The image is from New Order’s album Power Corruption, & Lies released in 1983.  I feel it is closely associated to me because I love beautiful arrangements of anything and try to find the beauty in whatever I observe. This is also my favorite album cover as well, so in that regard it also closely ties to me by drawing me in.
