         <description><![CDATA[<div>3.5 billion years ago<br>Introduced Prokaryotes,  single celled organisms. These came from vents from deep in the ocean. some went to the surface of the ocean and used sunlight as food to grow and evolve. These prokaryotes changed our atmosphere from carbon dioxide rich to rich with oxygen. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>2.5 billion years ago<br>Eukaryotes are also single celled organisms that were made from evolved prokaryotes. Their DNA was "locked" in a nucleus which helped keep important DNA information from changing. Eukaryotes have things called organelles which allowed them to process oxygen. This helped them thrive on Earth with it's new oxygen rich atmosphere. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Multi-celled organisms </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>1 billion years ago<br>Eukaryotes used their organelles to reproduce with each other. When they did this it made multi-celled organisms. These organisms could adapt and react to the changes in the weather. Some were made of up to 1 billion cells, which all worked together to keep the organism alive. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>500 million years ago<br>Brains were made when the multi-celled organisms needed to know what to do. So a group of nerve cells collected into a cluster in the head. They also lead down the spinal cord, with this the organism knows what to do and when to do it. This led to more complex things like the ability to think. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>250 million years ago<br>The first animal to live on land could have been something similar to a modern lungfish. Then the fish evolved into amphibians but they still reproduced in the water. But then things like reptiles and dinosaurs developed large eggs that had thick leathery shells. Then the first mammal existed, it came from evolved reptiles and very faintly resembled birds. </div>]]></description>
