We need to address cost barriers to becoming trained and certified as a CPRS. While Refocus Recovery was able to bring over 1100 certified peers in the state, there will be a massive shortfall in the workforce as other training providers seek hundreds of dollars for a registration to their training.

A grant for Free Trainings should be available for RCO's. One thing that I can say was helpful from Refocus was the free training. I remember having to pay 1200 dollars to take a CPRS class in 2020

Is anyone looking at how as a recovery community to work better with companies that come after Kyros? I don't know about the reporting but they helped so many people. All the people coming after seemed seem like the same people that spread the rumors that took them down and nkw they are jumping in to benefit and not providing the same free services. Who is asking these questions or are we doomed to be doing the same things and expecting different results?

DHS could work on making programs easier to apply for, get info on how to manage and administer programs correctly and efficiently. I am a Medicaid provider *osycholigist( and have been waiting months to get my contract changed from NPI to NPI2. Meanwhile, I have clients waiting for services. I'm concerned about how long it will take to get the RCO contracted with MN Medicaid from scratch. Can they expedite this process?

There needs to be multiple pathways to RCO certification. MARCO can't hold all the cards with certification. MARCO is too easily swayed by agendas and conflicts of interest between staff and board members.

Is Randy Anderson done threatening PRS with investigations on their certifications? What do we do the next time he has an issue with an organization that he doesn't like? At 680 per person and 15 people classes, he's making 212 per hour and which amounts to 400k+ a year. Drives a Hummer and Audi coupe. Why is he even allowed in the conversation. Doesn't help people he only self promotes and makes money of the community. For the last couple years he's been obsessed with this.js he done now?

DHS and MARCO can't be campaigning to shut organizations down. DHS and MARCO has been incredibly adversarial and openly hostile towards the affected organizations for several months.

They paid more because they weren't paying for anything an employer should be covering like employer taxes, work comp. Liability insurance. The 1099 peers are now not even eligible for unemployment. The requirement for peers to be w2 employees is not only ethical, but its how respects colleagues treat each other.
