Hello everybody,

     My name is Nick, and I am the brother and best man of Bradford Patrick Riley.  Thank you all for being here.
     I would like to thank both the Pindales and the Rileys for allowing us all to come together to celebrate the wedding of Brad and Allison.  May I say the bride is breathtaking, my brother is a very lucky guy.  Of course I know it is not by chance or luck we are gathered here today.
     In fact, Brad has many of the qualities that we see and seek in only the best of people.  He is a great listener, I should know, growing up we shared a bunk bed and we had a Sesame Street record that we played on a little Fisher Price record player, which was basically on lock till we fell asleep (which meant, of course, getting up to flip the record and set the needle every 5 songs or so).  And he would flip it and I would flip it and I maybe I was scrambling down from the top bunk or maybe he was scrambling down, we had a pretty casual attitude about the whole thing except for the fact that: KEEP IT BUMPIN!  And we would listen to the whole thing like 10 times and I don't know who would tire of it first (it goes in waves- its like “Uckk, no more Rubber Ducky!” but then,  “Ok, if you get up to flip it I'm not gonna stop you!”  So Brad is persistent as well.
 Some of you may know that Brad likes to dress up in costumes, let me tell you this is nothing new; in fact, as a kid, for Valentine’s Day he dressed as a cupid and spread the lovin among a group of retirees and veterans.  Because nothing says loving like a little boy in tights and tiny angel wings at the local VFW.  I do believe he wore that costume to bed that night. 
 I had the opportunity to hang out with my brother and his friends , the groomsmen, in New Orleans, and it was a blast.  They are all great guys, and I'm glad he has their support and camaraderie here.  I couldn't imagine a better supporting cast for this scene in his life.
Brad's a dreamer too, (he's an Aquarius you know), but seriously brother, look around you, look in front of you.  Did you ever dream you would be right here, right now?

I stand here today as a brother, a friend, a witness in testament of an event in THIS time, in THIS place.  We are here not as a random, disparate group of strangers, brought together by chance.  Rather we are compelled to join in union, to come together as family as this couple look towards the horizon of an unknown future.
