Some of the lyrics in this song really stuck with me "And this is our place, we make the rules" reminded me of how excited we were to have our friends, and decorate the space how we wanted. Then " Ladies and gentlemen, will you please stand? With every guitar string scar on my hand, I take this magnetic force of a man to be my lover", while we were moving in we were also planning our wedding, that we put the deposit down only a month before we moved in, and we got to experience the joy of the honeymoon phase and moving our relationship forward, and getting to talk about our future together, and also seeing our friends come together to help us make centerpieces, help my wife make invites and etc, it was really special to see how much our friends cared and supported us. Lastly the lyrics "All's well that ends well to end up with you, swear to be overdramatic and true to my lover", my wife and I always felt the pressure of being far away from our families and the pressure of living together and experiencing so many new things for the first time side by side, and even though at times it felt so challenging and we felt that we were being overdramatic with how we were dealing with everything, we also knew that at the end of each night we would be together and that made it all worth while.

This is the first picture we ever showed our parents when they asked us how our night was going, this was the picture we were able to send because this is the only room that was (almost) finished

Just wanted to share this as well, she pushes me to be a better version of myself and I am so happy that we met, she is always there supporting me and is the reason I committed to going back to school. I got to write my cnf thinking about us moving in together and getting ready for our wedding

Dr.Who Van Gogh

This scene replays in my mind a lot. Vincent Van Gogh is famous for someone that has such an effect on people now, his paintings are moving and he really is one of the most amazing artists that changed the world. And yet he is not able to see that about himself, and I think the reason this scene stays so powerful no matter how many times I watch it (still absolutely cry every time I see it, or even think about it) is that Van Gogh is finally able to see the impact he makes on so so many people and has that moment of self realization, and it frees him.

I chose this song to really reflect Ben and his journey with dealing with his work and what he thinks of his life. "It's so unreal, didn't look out below. Watch the time go right out the window. Tryna hold on, d-didn't even know I wasted it all" really hit me when it came to Ben, and my own journey with work and school. As i get older I start realizing that I was letting time go past me and felt like I was accomplishing nothing. Ben similarly feels like he is just starting to wither away at his work, he is unsatisifed with where he is now, and wanting to hold on to his dream, and yet when he wakes up later in the story he realizes that he has to make a choice and no longer sit there idily.

The lyrics "It doesn't even matter how hard you try" and "All I know, time is a valuable thing. Watch it fly by as the pendulum swings. Watch it count down to the end of the day, the clock ticks life away" also really resonated with me and how Ben tried so hard with the internships, and applying to so many jobs, to feel defeated, and how sometimes we really can't escape that, sadly
