         <description><![CDATA[<div>1) problem solving is applying previous mathematical knowledge to answer new concepts and questions brought forth. <br><br>2) problem solving goes hand in hand with hands on work, because when we have students interact with concrete ideas, they have room to form new questions and ideas. <br><br>3) problem solving helps students discover different strategies to help find the solutions; these solutions can be something that works best for the students. <br> <br>4) when you relate real world situations in to the classroom; the students are more engaged and they can relate, which encourages them to bring that problem solving thought process into their everyday day lives. <br><br>5) allows to explore creativity. <br><br></div>]]></description>
