In the next text I am going to tell a bit about my life, the place where I live and my routine. My name is Juan Sebastian Ostos Forero, I am from Colombia and I am 20 years old. I am a professional soccer player, I play in Boyacá Chicó who is in the second category of Colombian professional soccer. Also, I am studying Social Comunication in UNAD University, which is my second career along with soccer. I speak Spanish and I am learning English three years ago because I know English is very important to everything. I am currently single. In my free time I go to the gym, I study my subjects of university, I read books, I watch series and movies and I play videogames.

 

I am from Bogotá, Colombia but I currently live in Tunja for my job. I am living with a teammate from the team in a house that is like a "househotel" where almost everyone who lives is a student and there are several rooms with private bathroom, television and the kitchen, fridge and washing machine are shared. The neighborhood where I live is like the best place here in Tunja, there are only houses very beautiful and bigs, is very calm and it has many green areas and it is close to the two shopping centers that are in Tunja and it is central to everything.

 

My routine is the next: I wake up at seven or eight o'clock, I take a shower and  I prepare my breakfast at 7:30 o'clock . After, I train from 9 in the morning to 12 noon. I come home after training at one o'clock and I have a lunch at one or two in the afternoon. After work, I prepare my lunch or go to the gym and I rest a bit. Later, I prepare my dinner at seven at night. Then, at 11 at night I am ready to sleep. On weekends I usually do the same as during the week because we train every day and the only thing that changes is the days there are games, however, on weekends I usually go out to eat with friends, watch series and movies, and study a little bit and I study english three or four times for week.

Después de realizada la tarea 2 “This is me”, puedo concluir que participe activamente en el desarrollo de esta actividad. Permanentemente estuve aportando mis avances en el foro dentro de los tiempos establecidos, donde la tutora me realizaba sus respectivas retroalimentaciones, para luego corregir y seguir adelante con mi trabajo. De igual manera, participe y estuve pendiente de las webconferencias, y me inscribí a los b-learnings pero lastimosamente el día que lo hicieron no me pude conectar debido a que tenía compromisos de profesión. Me parece sumamente importante lo que estoy aprendiendo ya que estoy recordando conceptos y temas claves del inglés, puesto que lo llevo estudiando hace tres años, pero hace unos meses que no había seguido porque entré a la universidad. Siempre he pensado que el inglés es vital hoy en día en todos los ámbitos de la vida, desde lo personal hasta lo profesional, y se que, si tengo unas buenas bases del idioma y lo manejo bien, las oportunidades son aún más grandes.

Realizando una autoevaluación de mi trabajo realizado de 1 a 10, me daría 9 puntos.

Una vez finalizada la tarea 3 “All around me”, me siento en la capacidad de decir que participe activamente en el desarrollo de esta actividad. Durante esta tarea presente periódicamente mis avances en el foro dentro de los tiempos establecidos para la realización de este trabajo. Por otro lado, estudié y repasé los módulos correspondientes a esta actividad del E-Book. Luego, la tutora me realizó las correcciones y retroalimentaciones del audio, para luego corregir y volver a enviarlo para seguir adelante y poder concluir mi trabajo, preparando y dedicando un buen tiempo para la realización del video final. Me parece sumamente importante esta actividad ya que me hizo estudiar, corregir y practicar mi pronunciación y el habla en inglés ya que hace un tiempo no lo hacía con tanta frecuencia y esto me ayuda a sentirme más seguro y con confianza, para a la hora de expresarme en inglés, hacerlo de una buena manera. Sigo pensado y soy consciente que el inglés es vital hoy en día en todos los ámbitos de la vida, desde lo personal hasta lo profesional.
Realizando una autoevaluación de mi trabajo realizado de 1 a 10, me doy 10 puntos, ya que creo que cumplí con todo a cabalidad.
