This is one of my favorite projects but now looking back at I feel like I've improved my photoshop skills so much. At the time I didn't really have enough skill to do everything I wanted to do but you can clearly see the improvement. When I first finished this project I though it was so good and I was really proud off the hair but I think now because I've done some research on techniques you can really see the change in my final project.

Final Project

I am really proud of this project. I was definitely on a time crunch and I was rushing so much at the end but I think with the amount of time I had I accomplished almost everything I wanted. The hair is the thing I'm most proud of because up close it looks super realistic and I had so many layers of shading and color and I really tried to get it right. I also had to restart my project loosing a day and I also missed a day, so I think I could've for sure done more work with the shading and texture of the clothes but I think this is still my best work this year and I'm very proud. :)

This was from the abstract photo unit we did. I think the composition of the picture I took was really good because of the lines and different shapes. I also did editing on it to make it even more abstract and I think it was visually very successful in looking abstract

This wasn't my favorite project because I don't wear t-shirts with designs on them, so I found myself a little bit lost with what to do, but I did learn how to draw a cat in this type of style. I think it was a success in the end.

This was also a picture I took during the abstract photo unit. I honestly can't remember what it is because of the amount of editing I did on it, which I think is a good thing because it is supposed to unrecognizable. So I was very happy with it because I used a lot of the things we learned in class to achieve this look.

Gradient Landscape Independent Project

I really like this piece, it was part of an independent project and it didn't take a very long but the colors look so good together. I also really love drawing galaxies and outer space because you have so much freedom. I also used this to really figure out the tools in photoshop. Even though it wasn't always easy and it took a couple of tries I got the hang of it in the end and even used the gradient tool for multiple objects.
