It was at the end of the school year and I decided to read a book for once. I ended up picking up "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" when the librarian asked if I read the first through fourth ones first. I did not and she suggested I start with the first book instead. When ever a Harry Potter book was unavailable. I would pick up a book from the Percy Jackson series. The series has made me fall in love with Greek Mythology and helped me learn about the Greek myths. It was also when I picked up the "Kane Chronicles." furthering my love for different myths besides Greek. I ended up finishing the "Kane Chronicles" around this time too. Since then I have been a fan of Rick Riodan

The books that I bought were the "Lost Hero" and "Son of Neptune" by Rick Riodan. Furthering my love more mythology, although I did not like the Roman mythology in the story. I thought it was a rip off version of the Greek myths. Over the years I have begun to appreciate the books more.

This year was also when I started to read the series over and over again. This year also started with me looking for more books to read. Since in the past I have plenty of books to read due to it being a series that was already finished. It at the point where I did regret reading those books so fast. I was beginning to get bored with looking for more books. 
Although I did read the Divergence series and then finished the series too.

I never did that before until this year. I remember getting the book called "Infinity: Chronicles of Nick" and finished reading the book the very same day. The "Chronicles of Nick" is a book series that I never finished. it one of the book series that I have never finished. This year also reminded me of how I never properly finished the "Mortal Instruments" series too. I was on the last book too I think. However, this was the year when I let someone's opinion stopped me from finishing a series. Someone told me that it was like the "Twilight" series. I begun to read "The Throne of Glass" series. Something That was different from what I am used to since it was a completely fantasy that is not based on our own world or the future. It captured my imagination with how the world worked and it left me wanting more. I never got around to finish the series since I what the next book was called. This was also the year when I stopped reading for enjoyment at school. I remember the teacher and the student, Aden Rodimocker, talking about the book. I ended up asking them about it and decided to join the competition. When the movie for the book was announced. Our Teacher got tickets for all three of us to see the movie.
