Each saturation and tints we see symbolizes how the world is turning while we are all busy with our lives. I love how the sky mixes different colors with the white light emitted by the sun, and the combinations of the primary colors we usually see. Sunsets, with the appealing colors yellowish-red, sometimes stained with violets and blues, can make me feel safe and relaxed after a long tiring day. It could make me think about life, my sudden decisions, my regrets, and what-ifs, and if I did good things to myself and others. Sunset depicts wandering, drifting, daydreaming, and being in a daze by how amazing the world could be. The aroma of the cup of coffee beside you mixed with bitterness and sweetness which you inhale through your nose makes it more special and wholesome. The sunset in the city may be seen with long wires and tall posts by the road, but the essence of it is till there, wanting it to be felt. For me, the sunset makes me realize that after a long, bad day, the pain will end and the sun will still rise, bringing me hope and a new beginning. The serene feeling of staring at the sunset while in solitude gives me so much solace and positiveness, thinking that a bad day ends in 24 hours, and I can always start tomorrow.

The sweet aroma of the packed barbeques gave me an excitement to eat it while staring at the sunset. We heard the peaceful sounds of the winds from where we are that calms our hearts and mind. Seeing the astonishing sunset gives us comfort and warmth. Being able to witness the beauty and perfection of the sunset gave me an idea that we should appreciate our surroundings. I enjoyed this experience very much especially I had the time to see the amazing view and had more time to bond with my family.

Everyday, i perceive the orangish color of the sun, yet i do not attend to it. I feel the warm heat emitted by this big ball of light, even so i do not mind it. The cascading waters gushing forth to the shore creating that “whooosh” sound i hear, just the same i do not hear it.
Why is that? Because i take things for granted, we only notice things when they’re gone.
I indulge myself in my mind and fantasies to escape the harsh and boring reality we live in, and thus ignoring things presented in front of me. The beautiful sunset caused by scattered sunlight in our atmosphere is what causes this lovely warm enjoying feeling we find when looking at the sun. Subsequently, comes next is the inky unlit atmosphere which we call “night time”, and by that i feel that time flies so fast and another day has gone by. And then the process repeats itself, still i lose track of time and manage to get lost in my vast imagination.
As said, my life is limited, so the least i can do is to appreciate the little things.

The feeling of being alone while chilling in a beach house without thinking anything. The aroma of coffee while watching the sunset. Watching it set while talking to some people until it’s gone. It is important for it gives a good feeling to people that needs peace of mind. It also gives tourists the satisfaction of seeing beauty to the spot. Sunsets give us happiness and and the way it radiates the feeling of calmness helps people cope up when no one does.

ENDING

As the the warmth of a sunset touches her skin she find it impossible to skip a breathe, it’s always begging her to live once more .She starts to smile as for her sparkling eyes those are mango-flavored skies, a dash of good and mellow mango clouds, many flavors worth a try maybe tomorrow she sighed . Maybe some people wouldn’t understand how much of it’s warmth felt so much more like her mother embracing her as a child when she’s still by her side. A mother staring deeply at her soul never saying any words, just different colors screaming comfort. She was reminiscing, happy and blessed to call it a day with the sunset as the aura of her mother’s unconditional love. Tommorow she wishes to see it again, but with a different warmth from a warm cup of cocoa shared between a mother and her child. Sunset for her is a reminiscent of the day that has claimed itself, analogous to women’s longing for a motherly love after each day without a home to comeback to . Sunset is the ending of a today and the significant of tomorrow. A peaceful light over the horizon the sunset will always be in her heart, she will never let it fade, the warmth of a mother. Tommorow she looks forward to a better day, could be a peaceful one or could be chaotic one, nevertheless she breathes.

A Promised Sunset…

Once, there lived a little girl and a boy. They two were neighbors in a small, quiet town so they grew up close. They were best friends, playmates, and almost like siblings they never had. Before they knew what was happening, they had already formed a strong bond of their friendship.

One unforeseen day, the boy’s parents, announced that they would move to another country where they would settle in with other relatives.

Meanwhile, the girl was speechless; She could not seem to register what his parents said .

She felt misery, resentment, anger, and helplessness towards her friend and even towards his chaperons. For days, she locked herself at their house, refusing to meet with the soon-to-be emigrant.

At the day of their departure, the girl ran as fast as she could to catch up with them. Upon their meeting, the girl embraced the boy tightly.

The boy handed a pink, fresh-picked flower to the girl, and promised, “Don’t cry. I’ll come back again someday. I promise you we will meet again. When the sun sets, I’ll be here again.”

As he went in the distance, the girl let out small whimpers and tried to contain her tears as much keeping in mind the promise he said to her.

So every time the sky paints red-orange hues in the sky, when darkness begins to cast, and the creatures of the night starts to go out, the girl would stare at the sunset above her, sincerely hoping for her friend to come back.
