We can all agree that moving to other countries really does benefit us a lot. All the experiences gained from this period will make us more completed and confident in life. The list of what you can learn goes on and on. Working with people growing up in a different environment and education system may help you learn a new way to solve an old problem or how to do something more efficiently and logically, and you may also have the chance to introduce them to a method they’ve never tried before too! Also, you can be more independent and mature when you come back. Your parents can’t be by your side every moment something happens so you must find the solution yourself. As a result, you can easily handle trivial but troublesome situations such as when a pipe is broken or a clogged toilet. With all of these skills you learned for life, you’re ready to live alone, independently without any doubt or difficulty.

On the other hand, many difficulties get in the way too. Culture and manners are the most important thing that must be noticed when you move to another country since these differ from place to place. Not only those obvious manners or signs of politeness and friendliness we can all see, there are some “hidden” things that we usually don’t pay much attention to in our country but can be considered rude in another country. Body language is also something that needs to be taken seriously or else we can cause misunderstanding, embarrassing situations or leave bad impression. Moreover, at some point, when all of the new things that first catch your attention has been familiar, homesickness will come. You will feel the sense of loneliness and crave for the warmth family. But I’m sure this can be overcome easily and you can balance your life again.

In closing, there are two sides to every coin. Living abroad can either be a wonderful blessing or an arduous journey. However, personally, I think it's still a worth a try due to the great number of advantages it can bring.

Although travelling overseas can have many advantages, we also have to consider its disadvantages. One of the biggest drawbacks of moving away from home is that it can lead to serious culture shock. What I mean by this is that you will have to adapt to new and different things or maybe even learn a new language, which can prove to be a challenge. Another major disadvantage is that it can be very stressful and lonely. Because a lot of people fear being an outsider, and living abroad make you stand out, it can be hard for people who don’t want to stick out. Furthermore, making friends can also be hard to do because of the language barrier, so you can experience loneliness and become isolated. 

In conclusion, living in another country is never an easy thing to do. You have to weigh up the pros and cons before making such an important decision. In my view, travelling abroad can prove to be grueling and burdensome, but its benefits is definitely worth it.

         In terms of advantages, the first most noticeable benefit is that you will get a potential opportunity to improve yourself. If you are a student, you will able to approach to a higher education and also expand your knowledge. For instance, Harvard University or Columbia University is obviously better than those in Vietnam as they have the best lectures, curriculum and facilities for studying; there will also be seminar for learners to share their knowledge to others. If you move overseas to work, the salary there is higher than they are currently earning in their homeland. With the same job they are doing, they get a higher income so it will surely help them uplift their living standard. Secondly, as they are living aboard, it stands a highly likely chance of them associates with experiencing cultures and traditions of the country they are studying or working. Therefore, they can easily immerse themselves in its culture and experience it.

         The upsides of living and studying in a foreign country are obvious but the downsides are also undeniable. A major disadvantage is that they will have difficulties in dealing with the country’s language and culture. Most of the people who go abroad as a manual labour are quite uneducated so there might be a language barrier and it will be hard for them to communicate. Going aboard without researching about its traditional culture may cause you some misunderstanding or trouble. For instance, for some countries namely Germany, Switzerland, Japan, etc you have to take off your shoes before entering the house, this action not only shows respect to the host but also keeps the floor clean. Therefore, you need to pay attention to those things and avoid the mistakes. Another drawback they may suffer from is homesick and depression as they are far from their native country, family, and friends. They might miss their time in their countries and feel frustrated.

            To sum up, living aboard has both its ups and downs. You will get opportunity to get new experiences and develop yourself. However, you might have some difficulties in dealing with language and culture. Overall, it is vital that you avoid those downsides and take advantage of it.

On one hand, studying and living in a different country brings about many advantages. First of all, the idea of moving to a new place for a brand-new start is very promising when you want to let go of the past and move on. It is best to move if the condition you’re in isn’t comfortable or suitable for you, as it might drag you down, preventing you from success and happiness. A change in environment can certainly help you improve yourself and live a better life. Second, going to somewhere far away helps broaden your knowledge about the world we live in, how different people react to a situation and what you can learn from them. This could give you a more open-minded view on various topics. In addition, when you’re not home and close to your own family, you will eventually learn to become more independent, because you are forced to pick up life skills such as taking care of yourself or making your own decision without anyone to tell you what to do. Not only that, the opportunity to try and experience new things is extremely valuable. You will be able to make new friends, eat new foods and explore new places. 

Though, on the other hand, it can lead to many problems that you have to overcome. The most noticeable difficulty is cultural differences. Take making eye contact for example. In the West, it is viewed as a positive way to show that your paying attention. However, it is not the case for people of Eastern culture because they see eye contact as a sign of disrespect. Moreover, being far away from home, alone and unable to fit in, you could start to feel homesick mainly due to the lack of support. It may cause you to feel anxious, emotionally drained, sad and sometimes just want to give up, which cause major effect on your productivity. And of course, moving to a place you don’t know much of will leave you vulnerable to being victims of theft, abuse, assault, human trafficking and many more dangerous crimes.

As you can see, studying and living abroad have its pros and cons as nothing is perfect. Even so, it shouldn’t stop you from trying out new things in life and missing all the opportunity that comes with it. So, if your heart is telling you to go, you should definitely give it a try.

The principle positive of moving away from home associates with experiencing new cultures and ways of life. At first, it might be a little bit uncomfortable, however, those new cultural experience are priceless, for we are in with the chance of expanding our horizon as well as understanding how the rest of world works. Consequently, with extensive knowledge, we can confidently apply for big corporations with a very high acceptance rate, which will have a great impact on our lives. Moreover, we must take care of ourselves when living overseas. In fact, there will be nobody who supports us in foreign countries, therefore, we need to figure out how to manage our daily life independently.

Especially if we have never been away from home for such a long period of time, homesickness may become a big problem and we will not be able to resolve this issue efficiently. Likewise, living abroad also means that we have to spend a large amount of money. We might encounter some unexpected fees and need to buy things to get used to the new lives. 

All in all, from the content presented above, it might be fair to conclude that for every advantage of living abroad, there are still some drawbacks. You need to weigh up the pros of priceless cultural experience, self-care skills and so on, the cons of homesickness and financial problems. From my point of view, the hardships we go through are all worth the benefits we get.

However, if students manage to overcome unfavorable adversities and break through limitations, they will undoubtedly enjoy the extraordinary bright side of overseas education. Therefore, determination is a greatly required characteristic when it comes to studying in new countries for students to cope with every arduous problems and carry on studying.

If you fully embrace what living abroad has to offer, it is truly an memorable experience.

But what about the disadvantages? Are they just as important? To answer that, yes. The downside of living abroad is also something you need to take note of. As we all know, staying in a entirely different environment is definitely not an easy feat. It will take time to fully adapt to the changes and along the way you might face challenges such as culture shock, languages barriers, new diets, etc. While facing all of that, you will also be deprived of the usual support from family and friends. This can lead to a sense of loneliness, homesickness, possibly even depression. Apart from that, living abroad also means you will have to spend a lot of money while still managing it reasonably. You might also encounter unexpectedly high fees or need to buy all kinds of new home appliances. 

Nevertheless, if you really want to live and study in a foreign country, it is a completely worth trying experience. Just remember to consider both the pros and cons before making your final decision.

One might find themselves yelled at for just doing something normal in their homeland, such as greeting. Therefore, it’s quite common for migrators to feel homesickness. After being hit hard with the disadvangates of migrating, you might want to quit and come back, which leads to internal sturgle, as you find yourself stuck in the middle.
In conclusion, although there are many disadvantages of living aboard, it doesn't matter as you will overcome them eventually, so just be brave, and go for it.
