Keep in mind that all of the teams I am talking about are in California. In the future, I will go farther than just California.  My first recommendation is  Youth beginner volleyball. These volleyball classes are in Los Angeles and are super affordable starting at just 48 dollars!  They take place every Sunday from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm starting  June 7 and ending June 28. This class teaches the fundamental skills of volleyball in a competitive yet supportive and fun environment. And it is designed to introduce the sport of volleyball to the youth who are new to the game. And it is for people that are between the ages of 8 to 11 years old.  My next recommendation is for people who are intermediate it is called Marin Juniors 2. The M2 program offers competitive volleyball skill development. M2 is an opportunity for developing players to play in a club-like format and take their skills to the next level. The cost of this team is 1,300 dollars. And it lasts from November to April. And it is for people who are in 5 to 8th grade. The days will you will meet will be provided when you try out. And it is Marin county. Lastly, I will recommend club teams for people who are ready to take it to the next level. This one is a club team called  Absolute Volleyball club. This club is for people who are ready to play volleyball year around. They prepare  successfully at the highest level regionally, nationally and are prepared to take the next step at the collegiate level.  Price and schedules will be provided when trying out for the team.  And this club team is in San Rafael. Today's talk is going to be about the rules of the game and the different positions on the court and what they do. The first Important thing to know is that are always 6 players on a court at a time. There are 6 different positions and each one plays an important part of the game. First we have the outside hitter  they most often attacks the balls which the setter sets to the antenna to the left side of the court. Next we have the middle blocker. The middle blocker strives to be involved in blocking the opponent's hitters. Then we have the right side hitter they are carrying pass, attack, block, serve and defense responsibilities. After that we go to the back row where we have the setter. They are in charge of the offense. They also  decide who should gets the ball and when. Next we have libero.  They usually replaces the middle blocker position when that player rotates to the back row. But you will never see the libero in the front row. Last but not least we have the outside hitter usually one of the main passers and a go-to hitter. Now that we know all the places on the court lets talk rules. The first rule is you can only touch the ball 3 times on your side before it has to go over the net. The second rule is a player can not hit the ball 2 times in a row.  The third rule is If you  step over or on the service line when serving  as you make contact with the serve it´s the over teams point.  The fourth rule is If you touch the net it is also the other teams point. Those are some of the basic rules to remember when playing.
