Internal rhyme is more difficult to write, because you have to embed the rhyme into the middle of a sentence, so it has to be more relevant to the subject of the line. This is hard because you must be careful not to break up the line that you put an internal rhyme in. As opposed to end rhyme, where you can add some random word that corresponds to the rhyme and easily makes sense for the line, such as using transition words.

Internal rhyme is a more challenging type of writing/poetry than end rhyme. This is because, unlike end rhyme, internal rhyme is less predictable and requires words that not only rhyme with others, but also fit the context of the writing. Internal rhyming is most effective when writing is meant to seem not too predictable, yet also leave the writer with a sense of rhythm while reading.
