In this book some people lived as their great great grandparents in the 1800’s. They were secretly recorded and  on TV for people to watch. Jessie didn’t know this until her mom sends her on an adventure to escape the town. Her mom dressed her up with jeans, sneakers, and a T-shirt. But Jessie was used to wearing dresses and boots. The main character, Jessie, went under a rock to find a secret passageway underground to where people can see the cameras. She went into a dark room and the door closed behind her. She went down a hall when she heard voices and footsteps. She hid and almost got caught. When the men left she proceeded to walk down hallways so calm. She opened a door when there was a bunch of people in a room. People in that room are called “tourist”. They were looking at “old” footage of the 1800’s. But it was really Clifton. It up to Jessie to help Clifton be "free".
