         <title>Force &amp; Motion </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Motion is the changing of position or location. It requires a force to cause that change. Motion makes lots of things go, it impacts many things we do. <br><br>Force makes things change their motion. It is a word that basically means pushing or pulling. There are six types of forces: normal force, applied force, frictional force, tension force, spring force, and resisting force. Let’s not forget the two natural forces that we experience, gravity and magnetic forces. </div>]]></description>

         <title>Balanced &amp; Unbalanced forces </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Forces have magnitude and direction. These forces which act on an object can be balanced or unbalanced. Balanced forces cause no change in the speed of an object. They act on the object in opposite directions and equal strength and therefore cause no change. Objects that are not moving won’t start moving if acted on by balanced forces.&nbsp;<br><br>Unbalanced forces are not equal and they always cause motions of objects to change in speed and/or direction of movement. If these forces go in opposite directions and their combined force is equal to the difference between the two forces. Now if they go in the same direction, the resulting force will be the sum of the forces in the direction the forces are applied. </div>]]></description>

         <title>The 5 Es </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Engage is important to asses prior knowledge of the students, come up with scientifically oriented questions that will be investigated, make connections between learning experiences, and focus students’ thinking.&nbsp;<br><br>Explore is the phase where students identify and develop concepts, processes, and skills. Students explore and manipulate materials together.<br><br>Explaining helps students explain the concepts they have been exploring. Teacher can faciliatate learning during this phase by doing things such as introducing vocabulary, skills, and formats.&nbsp;<br><br>Elaborate is important in both teaching and learning. Students will apply what they’ve learned, dig deeper into the content, and finally apply this to a new concept.<br><br>Evaluation is the phase where students are encouraged to assess their understanding and abilities and lets teachers evaluate students’ understanding of key concepts and skill development.<br><br></div>]]></description>
