It's so nice to hear from you again. Congratulations on your new job, I'm sure you'll succeed in it.
If I remember correctly, the last time you were in Moscow was many years ago, so I suggest us visiting recent places of interest during your stay. Firstly, there is this beautiful park, where I spend almost all my evenings cycling or jogging. Knowing how much you love sport and appreciate great places for doing it, I recommend you to visit Luzhniky Park. This place has changed drastically after the stadium renovation, so my guess is that you'll absolutely love it.
Secondly, I certainly can't allow you to leave Moscow without a gastro tour of the best capitals restaurants. During the last several years this industry has developed so much, that sometimes you don't even have to choose a place to eat, as it is good everywhere you go. Nevertheless, there is one restaurant, which I like the best. The cuisine is just fantastic, every dish is so delicious you can swallow your tongue!
I really hope that you'll be able to go along with my plan and visit these places during your stay.

There are a lot of projects that need attention and financing, and choosing a right finance distribution structure can be impossible. However, there are public facilities that often get overlooked and demand financial support.
First, public gardens and parks are are a huge assets to the cities, that are often forgotten by local authorities. They are used by everybody: sportsmen who enjoy running in the park, families, older people. Also parks and gardens highly contribute to the cities' ecology. Greening of public spaces acts as a protection from traffic fumes, noise and dust storms. 
The current trend on healthy lifestyle and excessive concern for personal physique leads to increased demand for sports centres. However, these facilities are not prioritised by the authorities. Not enough sports centres are being built, and the existing ones are underfinanced, although they are of a huge asset. Such facilities increase public interest in sports. This leads to healthier population, both physically and mentally. Those, who regularly do sports, have better learning abilities and decreased stress level.

It's an amazing news that you're coming to Moscow so soon. Do you remember how we planned to go sightseeing together? You'll never be bored in our magnificent city. 
As you wrote about several evenings and spare time during the weekend, I'd propose you visit the heart of our capital, which is the Kremlin, with its fantastic architecture and the most ancient Assumption Cathedral dated back to the 15 century. By the way, the most worthwhile museum to attend  there is certainly the Armoury. It's the unique one based on the royal family treasury. Have you ever seen Catherine the Great crown with 2500 diamonds? It's really impressive. 
As for the weekend, knowing your passion for music and outdoor activities, you can go to Tsaritsino park and feel the atmosphere of the 19th century combined with the admirable palaces and illuminated fountains. You'd definitely appreciate its huge perfectly landscaped territory and unforgettable concerts of classical music played by the virtuosos. I hope my advices will be helpful for you. 
For the rest, I'll prepare the list of the most remarkable landmarks and museums and we can discuss them upon your arrival.
