In 1943 she joined the British army to be parachuted into Europe. She started to fight in the Holocaust in 1944 and she dies in 1944 as well. Senesh is still a symbol and a hero to this day. She was the daughter of an author and journalist and she is also a poet. Her family was assimilated. The British army allowed Senesh to be parachuted into Europe to start her training and eventually be parachuted into Yugoslavia. The Jews gave Senesh determination and she felt confident that Jews could still be saved even during this horrible time in history. The Hungarian Police are the ones who ended her act of resistance because she got caught when she was trying to enter back to Hungary from Yugoslavia and was terminated by a firing squad.
