Hello everybody!

I'm Maialen Agirre and I'm from Gasteiz. I finished my degree in Primary Education-Special Education in 2013. Then, I lived in Bristol (England) for three months. While I was there, I improved my English level a lot and it was a fantastic experience. Besides, currently, I feel more confident with myself. Taking advantage of this situation, I decided to study foreign language.

Additionally, when I worked in Laudio Ikastola thanks to the grant "Lehen Aukera”, I gave some English lessons. I liked that experience and I felt that I was able to be an English teacher.

My name is Maite and I am from Donostia. I have been studying Infant Education in Eskoriatza the last 4 years.

Now, I teach some Basque lessons in a school for some hours with 4 years-old children. It is the first time I teach in a school and I think that even that it is not full time I am lucky to work on that.

I have been in Denmark in an International school for an internship, where the main language was English, even that there were many nationalities, such as, Australia, Russia, Finland, US, Uganda and so on. I can say that I have a little experience in an diverse cultural environment and in English teaching classroom.

I hope that this subject would allow us to reflect and put in practice knowledge in multilingual and multicultural spaces.

My name is Maddalen Zugasti and I'm from Gasteiz. I finished two years ago the degree in Infant Education. Nowadays, I am working as a monitor in Ikasbidea Ikastola (Durana), so now I have more contact with the non- formal area of education than with the formal one. At least, I'm getting used to the young people and I have realized that I like to work with them in the future as well.

I hope that one day I will work as a teacher in the formal area, that is why I am doing this degree, to have more chances to find a good job.

In this last year, I have been going to an English Academy and my level in this language has improved a lot, I hope it will improve much more.

My name is Iñaki and I was born 25 years ago in Gasteiz. I studied the degree in Primary Education (Physical Education mention) in MU. Since I finished this degree, I have been working in a school in Gasteiz, so I am very happy to have the opportunity to put practice all things that I studied in the university. Looking forward to more opportunities working as a teacher, I have decided to do this degree.

My name is Ana and I´m from Elgoibar. I studied the degree in Primary Education in UPV (Donostia). I finished the degree in 2011.  

When I finished the degree I started working in different types of jobs, such as markets, pubs... I also worked giving private lessons to children, some of the lessons were in English. I did some substitution in a nursery too. 

Apart from these substitutions, I didn´t have the opportunity to work in education. I decided to study this mention to improve my English and to find a good job.

In my free time I like going out with my friends, reading, doing sport....

I´m looking forward to start with this module, so as to gain knowledge.

I finished my university studies just about five years ago, first I got my degree in Haur Hezkuntza and after that, I got my second degree in Psicopedagogia.

Luckily, a little bit earlier than finish my second degree, I started working as a teacher and I am continuing in it yet. So I can say that I have some experience as a teacher. Moreover, I have been changing the school each year and I have tried different teacher roles, and that has been very enriching for my career.

About my experience with the English I can say that it has been quite frustated. But four years ago I started in academy to get some knowlegde and last year I did First Certificate exam, but unfortunatelly I did not passed. And now, I do not have time to go to academy so I am improving by my own.

Therefore, all my bad experice with English is causing problems in this new degree. However, I am trying very hard due to the fact that I am realising that English is becoming essential instrument for us, teachers.

My name is Maite and I live in Forua, a little village near Gernika. I finished my degree in Primary Education (Phisycal Education) two years ago. Nowdays, I am working as a kayak guide in Urdaibai.

I decided to start this studies in order to improve my knowledge about education, it is important to go on learning in this field. Moreover, I want to have more opportunities to achieve a job. Unfortunately, until today I have not had the chance to work as a teacher.

My name is Unai, I´m 22 years old and I´m from Ondarroa. Last year I finished with my first degree of Primary Education - Physical Education in Bilbao, and, due to lack of chances to introduce in the Educational System, I decided to keep learning and studying. Hello! My name is Laura, I am 22 years old and I am from Vitoria- Gasteiz. Last year I finished my first degree and nowadays I am working as an Infant Education teacher in the school where I studied.

I am studying English since I was 9, I started at school and then in an academy. English is one of my favourite languages and last year, when I finished my Infant Education degree I decided to start a new degree in order to be English teacher in Primary Education.
