She began her journey in illustration in an experimental way, often drawing everyday situations. To be more precise, she actually started by drawing her teachers just to get through school a bit more easily. Since then, she became completely hooked on drawing, and it turned into her passion.

1. "Love, Death & Robots" (Netflix): Betteo was responsible for the character and background design for the episode "Ice." In my opinion, Ixchel’s work feels like looking at a personal diary turned into art. I love how she breaks the idea that graphic design has to be "perfect" or strictly digital. She shows us that "imperfection" and handmade elements have much more soul and can tell more human stories.

What I respect most about Montalvo is his sense of order. His designs give me a sense of peace because every element is exactly where it needs to be. I think he is the perfect example of "less is more," proving you don't need to crowd a poster with drawings for the message to be powerful and professional.
