Background: Shiori is the only child of Satoru, a music teacher, and Yuki, a shop owner. Shiori took up an interest in computers at a young age and built his first computer when he was 9. He started dabbling in the dark web as a teenager and released rudimentary malware here and there without detection. In his 20s, he moved to London, where he stayed until unforseen circumstances forced him back to Japan.

When she was 20, her fame rose after her amazing performance in a family drama, which led to bigger roles. By 30, she was living the life she had dreamed of until she wasn't. Hyori has one younger brother.

Like Do-hyun, he has a natural talent for acting and modeling and excels at his work due to his photographic memory. Raised under the strict tutelage of his father, Do-yeon was never allowed to fail at anything. He feels annoyed and threatened by Do-hyun, who never went through the same upbringing.

Although also raised under her father's strict discipline, she was given some leniency and freedom to a degree. She is very close to Do-yeon and dislikes Do-hyun, seeing him as an outsider who is ruining their family image.

Personality: Seong-jae is very cold and competitve. He is a perfectionist by nature and holds his family to very high, almost unachievable standards and sees anything below that as a stain on his reputation.

Background: Seong-jae is the father of Do-yeon, Do-hyun, and Do-hee. He built Star Entertainment from the ground up 20 years ago and strives for his company to be the best in the industry. He pushed his children into the entertainment world at any early age (with the exception of Do-hyun), to solidify their positions in the industry. While his relationships with Do-yeon and Do-hee are relatively good, he has a strained relationship with Do-hyun.

He is fixated on catching notorious hacker Obsidian and even more so after Obsidian obtained access to his phone number. Since then, Obsidian has taken care to wish Malachi a Merry Christmas each year. Malachi is engaged.

Personality: Joon is both logical and practical. He is very serious and reserved, sometimes cracking sarcastic remarks here and there to keep Shiori in check. Very meticulous, Joon strives to ensure there is no stone left un-turned. He becomes frustrated when there are deviations in his plans, which often puts him at odds with Shiori.

Background: Originally from Korea, Joon came to Japan to further his career in cybersecurity. His work and research on various hacker groups throughout the year have earned him fame and respect among the field. His most famous work revolves around his relationship with infamous hacker Obsidian, who he got to know over a 10-year period but never knew in person. For the past two years, Joon has been working on building a case against a hacker group called Axion. He enlists the help of Shiori and another hacker, Haze.

Personality: Mouse carries a lot of wounds, particularly toward Obsidian. His jealous personality and short temper often lead to clashes between him and Obsidian. He tends to be smug, sheepish about most situations, using it to mask his insecurities and secrets.

Background: Mouse originally grew up in London. He met Obsidian through Aeon and originally looked up to him. Mouse, unfortunately, demonstrated an inability to create anything for himself, but Obsidian was never willing to help. His own insecurities and rejections built up walls of animosity.
