Chromebook is a laptop of Google OS which runs only Google application such as Google browser, Google drive, Google Mail, Google Calendar Google Plus etc. Chromebook does not support Windows or Mac OS. Google Apps runs over internet only. Chromebook does not allow to install traditional software.

When looking at Chromebook teaches resources. it has apps like GeoCobra which is a tool for students who studies Geometry, Algebra, Calculus, Statistics and 3D Math. There is also scientific free apps provided like periodic table.

These apps will mainly use in University/ Schools such as teachers can use this to demonstrate students and makes it easy to learn as it's interactive.

They're basic laptops that only run google things. You can't add any other software to it which makes them useless as a personal laptop.

It is affordable. The key board is slightly different from the one onwindows laptops. it supports few touch pad gestures and It is primarily designed to work on web-based services.

OS run by google, but this has made it very restricted in relation to certain functions which limits it in performance capabilities, personally not something i would prefer to use.

Also they have proven to be relatively cheap compared to other competitors such as Apple devices

You can use them as wifi hotspots.

They're a bit big for a wifi hotspot, but they can be useful as a hotspot.

Can make a local area network to connect with other devices.

Laptop/tablet that's got limited software, it's all cloud based. Smaller hard drive, therefore you have more space.

Massive battery life.

Heavily reliant on a network connection

Google OS based on Linux

Can use them to access the OS on android, you can see bits you can't see from other OSes.
