I feel as that from the types of people we have today such as more transgender, African Americans, gay and lesbians, and other nationalities that this dress code is trying to revert back to the times in the 70's or so. Today is a different time in our educational system. We are more diverse than ever. The people that want this dress code are probably those that are older such as in their 40's or 60's. I am 30 and know that today dress codes need to be more aware of the diverse population and the cultures that are a part of our society today.
