Huck, living with his aunt does not like his father, and trys to avoid him. In an attempt to kidnap Huck and take the money, Huck runs away and the adventure begins. I thought this novel was full of adventure and action, and would be a great young teen's novel.

Their journey includes rafting down the Mississippi River, a Steamboat that was sunk full of robbers in it, and a bunch of other trouble. To twist things around, Huck's father makes a call to the police about how his son Huck was kidnapped by the Black man Jim to try and find them. I love the amount of trouble and drama the book encounters, and I believe that is the reason why the novel is so amazing.
