The given picture illustrates the different stages in the life cycle of a frog.

Generally, the life cycle includes 8 stages, starting with the female frog spawning eggs, to the growth of immature form knows as tadpoles, to mature frogs developing sometime.

The cycle begin with mating between male and female adult frogs on the ground level. The female ones subsequently lay a alrge number of egg in the water, each having an embryo inside. In the next step, little tadpoles emerge form theses frogspawn, and they stick to water plants. These tadpoles grow bigger in size, which means their tails become longer than before and the development of gills.

The following stages are the transformation of the tadpoles into young frogs. In the next stage, the tadpoles start to change as their figures become larger in size and their hindlegs appear. Next, their front legs emerge and during this stage, pulmonary breathing begins. Afterward, their tails begin to shorten and disappear. Finally, the young frogs turn into adult frogs and start mating to reproduce, after which the cycle begins anew.
