In my opinion, the particular typeface used looks tacky, especially in this instance with the text being aligned to the left, line spacing, and the stroke outline added onto it.

In terms of size, this title stands out; however, the white colour of the text on a white background wouldn't catch as much of an eye as it would if it had some colour, it feels too generic especially for it being an "Art & Chill" event.

• Abundant Letter Spacing

I find the letter spacing in the title excessive, especially considering the style of typeface used; it is not fitting. Since the size of the typeface in the title is already huge, the excessive spacing in between is unnecessary.

• Contrast

I highly dislike the contrast between the title and description. The size and line spacing in the title takes up half of the page whilst the description below is super small.

In my opinion, the contrast of typeface used is not aesthetically pleasing.

I think that the choice of typeface along with the colour choice is suitable for the message that it evokes; the intent of this typographic piece is to emit positivity, the bright colours and the admirable fonts used help communicate that idea clearly without the phrase being read.

• Kerning and Tracking

The slight kerning and track of spacing are used appropriately and incorporated well into this piece. The lettering alignment is consistent and balanced well.

• Aesthetics and Integration

The overall aesthetics, sizing, different use fonts to emphasize meaning and order of importance are integrated well together to create an eye-catching piece, along with the minor designs surrounding the text and the colour palette used. The text is centred and uniformity is incorporated where needed.

The stroke used in this type classification is thin and delicate which is appropriate for this piece, it is used to allude to 'air' in the phrase used, along with the thin swirls sprouting from the letters.

• Connected Stems

The connected stems between the "t" & "h" and the "i" & "r" go with the overall aesthetics of this piece; along with the dainty swirls it has a very nice flow and gives an organic, unique feel.

• Countershape

The colours and designs manipulated within the counter shapes including the tittle of the 'i' in 'is' within the countershape of the 'o' is satisfying to look at.

The weight in the title is boldest text within this poster which is the most important aspect; it's the first thing that catches your eye which is the main goal for a movie poster.

• Hierarchy

Expanding on the choice of weight within this text, the overall sizing of the type highlights the text in the correct order of importance; title, cast, tagline, and credits.

• Creativity, Originality, and Overall Aesthetics

The vibrancy and tones used within this poster creates a sense of motion, excitement and thrill; the elements used also emit the same feeling (ex. the car with motion lines, cast holding guns, etc). The colour of the negative space also gives a sense of originality- especially with the added cloud element, they made it a dark pink colour instead of a sky blue; I feel it makes the poster original, unique, and stand out whilst also matching the warm tone that is applied to the elements used.

The sizing used on the type creates emphasis on the order of importance within the words/overall type used, which plays a key role in hierarchy. An example is used within the phrase "You will Bloom if you take the time to water Yourself.", the words "Bloom" and "Yourself" are a larger text size than the rest of the words as it highlights the important bold words- this impacts the reader's emotional interpretation. The added sentence at the bottom, "GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO GROW.", is the smallest text within this poster. The intent is for it to be read last and in this case to sum up/conclude the phrase.

• Use of Images/Elements

The addition of the butterfly in this poster on top of the 'Y' in "Yourself" helps draw the eye even more towards the words perceived as important. Along with the sparkles added, it shows the audience/reader that the phrase is positive; encouraging growth and renewal, without the phrase even needing to be read.

• Style of Type

The gradient used within "Bloom" and "Yourself" is very pleasing to look at, it helps them stand out and creates the illusion of the words having a shine effect. The various choices of typeface within the phrase and the contrast of them works well together and emits the correct emotion as intended.

Right off the bat "Futura" should be the first that the reader sees as the text is white on a dark blue background. The rest of the text is in black, yet still readable and varying in size, just insuring that the title is the first to be read and to stand out among the rest.
