Patient is distressed enough needing the ambulance service. It is not holistic person centred care to treat the patient with less respect. The patient may now feel less comfortable calling the services in the future.

Mentally the pt may suffer from identity anxiety after being asked questions about their past gender, they may also feel as though they are being treated differently by crew just because of their gender identity causing them to feel isolated.
