Mitchell]]> 2016-11-16 14:31:42 UTC https://padlet.com/phillipsr4/dz5aqx6kbmdp/wish/138078824 Cranfill https://padlet.com/phillipsr4/dz5aqx6kbmdp/wish/138153472 Agree with all of you!  Model optimism, talk about it, write about it, use literature to bring out character traits such as optimism...  Have students "watch" for others showing this trait.  We used to have a week long focus on RAK(Random Acts of Kindness) to get kiddos thinking about it and doing so in daily life.  That would be fun to do it again!  Practice leads to mastery, right!?  :)
