Can you please clarify how the Tier 2 schools will receive the one time funding at $2750? Will cde backtrack for 24-25 and fund tier 2 schools at $2750 and distribute the difference in June? Is only for 24-25 or will it go further? Since this is only a one time thing, What is being done to get Tier 2 schools 2 to the $2750 rate?

Is funding guaranteed at the $2750 rate for three years for those schools that hit 55% to qualify for the new rate 1 rate?

The requirements and flexibility on attendance is still an issue for some LEAs which might be adding to money being left on the table. How can we support a greater understanding of this funding again as well as the potential impact if we keep leaving money unspent. Which undermines the governors vision for this money and leaves the needs of kids being unmet

Attendance is a major issue from lingering impact coming out of COVID and shifts in demographics - declining enrollment etc. How is the division thinking about his? Otherwise ases/ 21st will be continually moved around due to lack of attendance. And more long term the forecast is to reduce school age students to 5.2 million students by 2030. What long term approach is the division taking to prepare and is there data to level up the trends and story for expanded learning?

It’s heartbreaking to hear how much money is left on the table and districts say ELO-P is “too much money.” Meanwhile you have non-profits, the real movers and shakers of the communities we serve who know how to use funds to best serve our youth yet have so many barriers to have access to funds. Districts need to be regulated and staffed with people who WANT to make a real change to their community and not their pocket books.

Lots of focus on ELOP. Many LEAs seem to be letting go of ASES and 21ST. What talking points or encouragement is there to not let them go of this?
