I don't understand the dream he keeps having, is it real, is he imagining, or is it a dream? I predict sadly that his mother is going to die because I think she has cancer, and she keeps getting treatments and she needs to have her mom come to help her.

The monster told Connor this to say how he had to give up something that was important to him to help his kingdom. He tells the story to tell Connor he will need to give up something. Maybe he will have to live with his grandma for his mom to live. This could be what the monster is trying to hint at. She was taken away from it. Why she didn't yell at Connor, I didn't understand, however maybe she understood his frustration. Or she had no words for him, but to just scream, I don't know why but I feel like the grandma and the monster might have a relation, like they have see each other before. This relates to Connor because at school Harry says to him that that Connor wants to not be seen. This made him angry, and the monster was behind him. In the story the invisible man wanted to be seen. It's about not knowing something until it is leaving or is gone. So Connor doesn't know how much he loves his mom until she gets ill. It is then when he starts getting mad and angry, now that his mom is dying, it much like when the monster destroyed the parson's house. But the monster came and saved her because she might of been evil, but she wasn't a murderer. This relates to Connor because when his grandma came over, Connor didn't want her there because she was different. However this doesn't mean she is a bad person.
