This semester, I want to feel confident in the ways that I focus on student progress when it comes to reading and writing. I want to build a thorough set of strategies and activities to use with students that will enable a positive learning environment. My hope is that this will motivate them to build their skills and push them to want to continue reading and communicating their ideas through writing. These areas of education can become extremely tasking for students because it requires a lot of mental processing that can become strenuous if not enjoyed. I want to generate positive learning habits to benefit both the educational and emotional mindset.

This semester my goal for this class is to develop new strategies and skills to help better my students writing. There are so many different ways that students can write and process their thought, so with the skills I learn I want to be able to help my students with their writing. Language Arts is a pivotal subject in the classroom and most of the time students get stressed or overwhelmed with writing, but I want to help my students see writing as an outlet to express themselves. I have a mixed relationship with writing but when I get the opportunity to express myself through a really good topic I let all my fear or stress go! I cant wait to continue to grow in my own writing skills but skills that I can teach my students.
