         <description><![CDATA[<div><a href="https://www.history.com/news/life-in-the-trenches-of-world-war-i">https://www.history.com/news/life-in-the-trenches-of-world-war-i</a> <br>Trench Warfare was horrible. The new technology in the war was so advanced with the new weapons and ammo that could shoot a mile. There were bodies in the trenches, out in front of them also. Soldiers would write letters home, they would basically be writing there death note. The Germans would build comfortable, dry, and safer trenches than the US. Sometimes the Germans had running water and electricity. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Spanish was beating kids and eating women and nobody there wasn't doing anything to stop eat so the US took it to they hands which was going to war and with the Spanish an the US going to war wasn't going to be pretty they both had many guns and many soldiers but the US had something that the Spanish didn't that could take them out in 2 days which was 5 tanks an the US already had US soldiers it their territory camouflage in trees sniping the Spanish soldiers from left to right so at the end of the war the US held up the victory going back home.</div>]]></description>

They would wake up at five in the morning and they would start their day off with training. Their day were very scheduled through out the week.  </div>]]></description>

Men even drown in the trenches because that was their homes during the rain and other bad weather. They had to make the best of their homes so they made songs and even read out long to each other. You could see all through the trenches. You could see when men had to take baths and even cut their hair. </div>]]></description>

The letters inform us whats happened during this time and it gives us a idea from first hand what they dealt with everyday and night. These letter are a primacy source of how we know what happened during the world war 1 and what it was like. </div>]]></description>
