Interaction design Process
Every groups have different ways of tackling its problems and have their own processes on how to do so. However in each process, while steps and definations may vary, there are still similar steps taken in order to ensure that the process is successful

The first step would be to define. Defining a single problem and the multiple ways one could see it being solved. Which helps to identify a consumer's needs and the requirements needed to solve the problem. By defining, designers would also be able to specify a target market they would like to be able to sell their service or product to.

The next step would be to research. By researching about the current issues or competition that they face when designing a product or service, it may be able to allow the designers to be able to much easily ideate about how their product or service might work. It could also help designers come up with unique selling points which may help with beating any similar competition. Research would also allow designers to have a much more specific target market and the profiles of consumers who may most likely end up using or buying their product. However, Throughout the interaction design process, many designers research along the way in order to refine their product/service and ensure that its its going down a more clear and successful path. It may also help designers learn more about what consumers need or want in their product or service

After going through every design/idea. The next step would be to prototype their products or service to ensure that it would be able to actually meet the needs of it's consumer market. However, it also allows for designers to make further improvements by evaluating them and trying it on focus groups. They can then improve the efficiency, safety & utility of the product/service. Allowing the prototype to have a final design by repeating the step and ensuring the prototype is refined everytime. Alternative designs for the product can also be designed which may be useful or better.

After the product is refined, the next step is to observe.
After the product is released, designers would observe how their product is being used, listen to feedback on the products and any possible error, monitoring the performance and its success. This will allow designers to maybe improve on the product/service and serve as important feedback for their next design, which they can use information gathered from this process to help further elevate their future design.

What are the new consumers expectations?

Consumers in the present would like, in simple terms, more customized products and services at the best possible time for them.

Which may actually help not just the consumers as they get something more of what they actually need or want instead of maybe having the supplier generating thousands of the same generic stocks that may not be well received by everyone. It also means that the product or service is not created until the consumer gives the details of their desired outcome, which keeps inventory low and the chance of people not buying their product or service.

One app i use to gather information and update information would be the different google applications.

Such as google search, google documents and google drives. Which are essential for me to not online search for information online but to post new information i have learnt and share it with my class.

The reason i use their applications is due to how easy it is to just search up information and research online on Google search and how easy information can be shared through google documents and google drive.

The reason i use these applications is because it is not only easy to use but makes it very efficient to share documents, pictures and information with other people.

After researching on my client's website, i've realized that Sparks cafe and bistro, the company we wish to work with, tries to make their website simple and easy for anyone to access. However the website is not very engaging and does not look very homely and comfy.

Which is something we would like to tackle as Spark's cafe business would like their consumers to feel comfy and at home when they eat at their bistro.

Currently their website is actually running however, from what the owners have informed me, website traffic is low and is rarely visited so we hope to be able to counter that by using social media to promote the website and also to be able to come up with potential improvements on the design of their website in order to be able to revamp it.
