Making Connections For People And wildlife- the pond at Endcliffe park connects people and wildlife, in the summertime people come here to feed ducks and see the fish population. The woodland walk also allows for this connection.

Tree and vegetation cover have a natural cooling effect as they provide shade and can reduce surface temperatures. Also trees when undergoing evapotranspiration, consume a proportion of the available heat energy in the atmosphere. This is useful in summer as it can help reduce temperatures.
