Going in to the assignment I was feeling good because I had read the book many times before so I figured I would be fine writing a piece about it. Am I comfortable with timed writing? Yes, however I prefer to not have a time limit and just free write. I don't think it affected my end product because I was done before the period was over. My grade does not match up with my expectation at all. I think the reason I did so poorly was because I did not consider the reader's point of view and did not make it flow very nicely. In my work I am proud of my examples, I think my examples supported my thesis very well I just didn't do very well on my explanations.
