Airplanes introduced "dogfights" and advancements in recon work.<br><br>3. Helium Airships were the modern day bomber during World War 1.<br><br>4. Antiaircraft Guns were a counter to the power of aircraft warfare.<br><br>5. Poison Gas was a great improvement in clearing trenches and other bunkers holding enemies.<br><br>6. The use of tanks made a great improvement of clearing barbed wire for soldiers and other forces to advance towards the enemy.<br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Kaitlyn<br>1. surrounded by filth, lice, rats, and polluted water that caused dysentery.<br>2. inhaled poison gas and smelled the stench of decaying bodies.<br>3. suffered from lack of sleep.<br>4. constant bombardments which led to battle fatigue and "shell shock" a basically a complete emotional collapse which many never recovered from.<br>5. Trench foot, toes would turn colors and become numb then start to rot due to standing in cold wet trenches for long periods of time.<br>6. Trench mouth, a painful infection of the gums and throat caused by poor hygiene. <br><br></div>]]></description>
