Who was your favorite character? Why?

My favorite character was Bryson. Throughout the novel, he exhibited great character traits that make him a very likable character. He is intelligent, aware, and caring. He is also very determined and will always try his absolute best to accomplish his goals. That is why Bryson was my favorite character.

Who was your least favorite character? Why?

My least favorite character is still Katz. I will admit that there is character development when he uses the cigarette lighter to signal where he was. However, he still just continued to hold Bryson back on his journey. He was much slower and did not contribute anything to the journey except the fact that he offered a little bit of protection. That is why Katz was my least favorite character.

Explain.

I think that the 1st trimester book which was The Martian Chronicles by Ray Bradbury was better. It was much more entertaining and interesting than A Walk in the Woods was which is why I believe it was a better book.

He is making this argument by explaining that Katz is much more out of shape and slower than he is. Katz is also prone to seizures and is quite unaware of the wilderness.
