Think of two managers that you have had – the best and the worst. The managers could be ANYONE who served as an authority figure in your life – or part of you life; including a teacher, an instructor, a boss at work, a student council manager, a class leader, a parent …?
STEP 1: Think carefully about the specific behaviours that made each manager your best or your worst. Choose one person to write or type – and start to make lists of the behaviours of each manager.

Type your notes into the padlet OR face-to-face students use pen and paper if you don’t have access to a laptop. THIS IS JUST AN EXERCISE – NO GRADES- NO WORD LIMIT just get writing and have a go.

STEP 2: Analyse the two lists – can you see any themes or patterns ? Are there things the 2 best managers each did that are similar ? Are there things the 2 worst managers each did that are similar?
